Hotel is a beautiful ship merchants house, in the medieval section of a stylish town, with views across the sea .Enjoying the comings and goings of the ferries into the island's Port. A renovated active Theater to visit,€2 for an independent look around too. We were upgraded too. Thank you. The staff were helpful and friendly, especially, the very happy waitress called Hope. It was helpful to have breakfast served to you too. The shower lotions etc were great,as were the luxury fluffy towels. A kettle was found too. The downstairs public spaces were furnished comfortably. Liked the records playing in the reception area, very much. The ornate original interiors were a joy to see, especially the ceilings.
These downstairs public spaces, were underused and it felt a lost opportunity by the hotel management. The upstairs breakfast/bar area( except breakfast time ), again was sadly, underused. The offer of bar 6-9pm seemed to fail to attract guests, during our 3 nights. Maybe, the hotel could introduce a welcome type canapes and a drink, for new guests, and maybe a happy hour. The view from there, warrants better use! The hotel is an old building, probably 19th century so, expect high ceilings and small room dimensions and balcony. The balcony is adequate but would be improved with more comfortable seating, to enjoy the view. The bathroom was modern, with a reliable hairdryer. Breakfast, is offered with 2 different menus. One included and the other, is extra cost which mainly consists of egg dishes and machine coffee. For the overall hotel cost, this feels unnecessary in cost cutting and leaves a bitter taste. All breakfast portions appear to be carefully apportioned, which is good to avoid food waste. But the offer of further tea, fruit etc felt with held...you had to actively ask for a further helping. It was never offered .The seating in this area, would benefit from ALL seats having a cushion. Finally, taxis to the port with luggage charge €10 not 6. The nearby, concrete beach was very busy when we visited. There are sandy beaches, in nearby Kini(30 min bus ride ) for €2 each. Bus stop is far side of the Port, near Gasoline station.

Excellent building, beautifully preserved and refurbished while still keeping its old-world charm. We had one of the front-facing rooms with a balcony, and honestly, the view was unbeatable. I’m not sure there are many places with a better or more uplifting view than the one from our room. The reception and working area, with the long table, were really comfortable, cosy and inspiring. The staff were excellent—always happy to help and gave us great recommendations without ever trying to sell us anything. There’s no car park, which we knew beforehand, but if you don’t mind walking for about 5 minutes, there’s a public parking area nearby where you can park for free. The only comment I’d make is regarding the breakfast, which felt a little too basic for a 4-star hotel. An omelette and coffee other than filter coffee came at an extra charge, which I found a bit poor given what we had paid for our stay.

The location and the architecture. The rooms felt very classical and the flower deck had some of the best views of the sea. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to our every need. We were less than a 10 minute walk from anywhere in Ermoupoli and right across the street from the old port which is the main famous swimming area in the town.
The rooms were small since the building is old.

Only location
- Not very clean (dirty marks on the coffee machine, dusty) - Breakfast was included in the price but was only boiled eggs and snacking, they didn’t have breakfast buffet anything else was with extra charge -Different rooms than in photos, it was disappointing i was expecting a bigger room, nicer view from the window. there was no view from the window the balcony was a different layout than in the photos
