Bed was perfect - semi soft and the room a nice temperarure.
The summer BBQ on Friday evening was excellent with the 2 staff doing everything extremely well. The chef knows how to barbecue 👍😃
Very nice patio and lovely grounds.
We were on the 3rd floor and the lift was not working. We also stayed in the beginning of June on same floor - the lift was also not working then (with same out of service sign). SO IT IS ABOUT TIME TO FIX THAT LIFT.
Breakfast is OK but not good. Staff should regularly check what needs replenishing (ex. 2 yoghurt cartons on the counter - both empty.) Hot breakfast is good - if there is any left (we came to breakfast ’mid-breakfast time)

Lovely old main house with period furniture.
Room was a good size.
Bed was medium soft.
Decent breakfast.
Get the lift in the accomodation block repaired sometime! We are an older couple with heavy suitcases + other luggage and had to get them up/down 2 flights of stairs.
Odd check-in process and not clear where to go to find the room.
Stayed in room 3 - need good muscles to open the door!!
