A most enjoyable and memorable stay in Lugano.

On arrival, we were upgraded by the friendly receptionist to a suite which was very comfortable with a balcony as well. Relaxing to have extra space as this was around the twentieth accommodation we had stayed in over thirty-five days. The bed most importantly was supremely comfortable. The room was very clean and well maintained. Sufficient power points for all our devices. Warm shower. Complimentary water and soft drinks. One of our main objectives in Lugano was to enjoy the boat trips on the lake. The stop for this was a few minutes’ walk from the hotel with a tasty ice-cream outlet as well if we arrived early. Breakfast was more than sufficient. We ate three evening meals in the dining room. These were well prepared and staff were most attentive.

Everything was what we needed.

Douchen in bad! Gevaarlijk, geen antislip mat. Ouderwets.

Everything was above my expectation. Location was excellent, I did not have yo use my car to go around anywhere. They have big free parking. My room view was outstanding, lake view😍

Breakfast variety and internet speed was slow a bit.

Our best hotel all in our Switzerland trip

We enjoyed so much the Hotel installations and the staff. The breakfast was so good - in line with everything at the hotel - as well as the restaurant.

Nothing. Everything was perfect. The location, the hotel installations, everything. Make no sense talk about something we "didn't like" when there is no a single one!

Other than trying to manage walking up the hill from downtown, all went well.

Staff and room were fine.

Return to Lugano

Very good hotel, immaculately clean, and both the hotel and garden area were very attractive and well cared for. 'Thank you' to the staff, who were all very welcoming, professional and helpful. Room was very comfortable with spacious bathroom and balcony. Excellent breakfast buffet, with lots of choices. Free parking in the hotel grounds is a big bonus. We would definitely be happy to book another stay at this hotel. 🤗

Pleasant hotel close to the lake

The hotel is few steps away from the lake. very good receptionists, very nice and helpful, very comfortable beds!

It needs an urgent update… for 4 stars you expect much fresher look, especially the toilets and doors. The room was very hot and there were no way to reduce the temperature. I can’t sleep if its too hot. At 2:00am got up to open balcony door… in February! so hot it was. Flush didn’t work properly in the toilet and it was quite uncomfortable situation… room 307 Breakfast need more variety of healthy choice.

The location , close to the lake , shops and everything else. The Hotel garden is a beauty. The staffs are super friendly and lovely. There is a Tesla Charger ( wow ) private parking. Rooms are decorated well and bathrooms are clean. Excellent bed and everything is clean.

You can smell the carpets and humidity in The rooms with carpets. I came here 4 times. Next time I’ll ask for rooms with Parkett.

It is classic and high quality hotel

Like other De La Paix Hotels, also this one is very good. It has a high quality classical design. Also the restaurant was very nice (resonable prices with good quality food)
