It was close to the train station and a bus stop was right outside its doors. So getting around Lugano was easy.

Location was good, not far to walk to get to the lakeside or the train station (around 10 minutes for both), bus stop outside.
Room was clean and a good size with a large balcony, quiet a/c and a fridge + tea and coffee making facilities.
Breakfast was continental-style with cold meats, cheese, yoghurt, pastries etc and very nice.
Staff were lovely and spoke sufficient English and very helpful.
We'd happily stay there again.
And Bonus, they have the Ticino card giving free or discounted travel in the Ticino region which was well worth having.

Staff friendly. Breakfast good. Room comfortable and quiet with a/c, kettle, safe, etc. Very good.

Room had very bad sewer type smell - there was no hot water - we did not get clean towels first day room cleaning. when we complained to the owner we were told "no everthing is good" - thats all
smell in the room
