A beautifully restored Manor house with beautiful rooms, elegant, common spaces, superb food, and incredible staff.. Very special thanks to David for his hospitality. Beautiful view of the water and town from their patio and a bar. Five stars in every way.

Beautiful Hotel & grounds, the food in the restaurant was excellent & the staff very helpful
Our room on the 2nd floor, it was very warm,the window would not stay open, there was no dressing table or mirror to use when drying hair & nowhere to put toiletries in the bathroom, I would say it was more suited for a single gentleman

Beautiful building set in a stunning location, amazing entrance and gardens staff were fantastic. View from room was lovely too.
Rooms very tired ,stained carpets , marks all over the walls, shower was very underpowered!

The common areas were lovely, furnished with antique furniture. The property overall was charming, and the gardens were vast and beautiful.
The room we were given on the first night was very small and not particularly clean, with insects present because the window had apparently been left open. The spring mattress was old and uncomfortable, and kept sliding off the base. The hairdryer was stored on the floor of the closet. The next morning we noticed a stain, likely mold, under the mattress, and asked to change rooms. The new room was slightly bigger and had clean sheets, but it still wasn't well maintained — for example, the hairdryer was partly melted. Overall, the rooms don't live up to a 4-star standard or the price paid.
