The house is almost like a mini mansion - very spacious, with plenty of room both inside and outside. The gardens are huge, with lots of space for kids to run around and play. It’s a great choice for larger groups, with plenty of bedrooms and beds, and the layout gives everyone a good amount of privacy.
There’s a bus stop around a 10–15 minute walk from the house, with several bus routes into the center of Edinburgh.
The house has some quirky decorations and could benefit from some maintenance and a thorough deep clean. It wasn’t dirty, but it felt like it had mostly been cleaned on the surface and hadn’t had a proper deep clean for a while.
There is a dishwasher, but unfortunately no dishwasher tablets were provided.

The location was great. It was fantastic for our family getaway. Great outdoor space for my Grandchildren aged 5, 2 and 1
Six of us where attending a concert in Edinburgh on the Saturday night and the transport was very accessible.
We all had a great time and would definitely book again.
The sofas where a bit uncomfortable.

Great location for exploring whilst also being nicely secluded in beautiful grounds near a church and only 5 minutes from shops. The house is stunning and contained everything needed for a wonderful stay for 2 families of 4 people.
A few quirky decorations in and around the house, broken ornaments, football goals and garden furniture needs repairs/replacing. Would have been useful to have an info guide for working the oven, nearby facilities, knowing in advance to bring bin bags etc. TV in main room didn't have any signal/input.
