Room appeared to have been refurnbished. Good space in the room, modern facilities, beds comfy but the pillows not so comfy, nice shower
No mirror in the room and the one in the bathroom was too high. Not easy to get access to the toaster or to use it with powerpoints behind the microwave. So we toasted out bread on the floor. No bathroom shampoo or conditioner. Only provide a small soap in the first day.

Very comfortable. We were able to get some rest after a long journey, and Motel John Hoxley was perfect for our stopover. Tastefully furnished. A really beautiful—and new—bathroom. The kitchen area was great, too. Excellent!

Small modest motel which seemed to catch a number of one night stayers coming from folk on the way into Port Macquarie. Quite central, walking to Settlement City shopping centre took 15 min, a Coles supermarket a bit closer.
Room was clean and comfortable although a bit smaller than we are used to. Had a microwave and electric kettle.
I already knew it would not be near the beach or river, but good value nevertheless.
Slight nuisance that access to it was only on one side of Gordon Street. Had to drive a bit further and turn at the next set of traffic lights.
