About this house rental
Nestled in Napier, this charming house for $108 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Relax in seclusion at a newly refurbished spacious two bedroomed cottage, with open plan living and a modern fully equipped kitchen. Set in a quiet location only one minute walk to the beach, enjoy all day sun with outdoor entertainment areas both front and rear. A fully fenced section provides privacy and shelter, along with off-street parking. One block from Westshore shops, chemist and restaurant. Stroll along the reserve, cycle the Esplanade, fish for snapper or just watch the yachts sail by. Two minutes from Napier Airport, and Napier's inner harbour, Ahuriri - a charming harbourside village by day, changing into restaurant and cafe dining at night. Five minutes drive from Napier City, with palm lined streets and unique architecture, and shops to suit all tastes. Take time to venture out on the Food, Wine and Art Trails. A great base to enjoy Hawkes Bay Wine Country and the huge variety of activities on offer - or simply relax. Base Rate: shown on calendar is for 2 adults., and then a charge of $20 per extra adult. Discounted rate may apply for stays of 4 days or more. We will supply with quote upon receipt of your request for accommodation. Extras: All linen, towels and basic pantry and laundry essentials are supplied. NOTE: The property will be serviced after you leave, but we simply ask that you leave the property tiday, as found., i.e. no dishes on the bench etc. Note: Two night minimum stay over Mission Concert period.

Lovely quiet private peaceful home. Has everything you need. Great shower, comfortable beds. 1 min walk to the beach, the only negative thing I can say is a few stains on the lounge carpet.
Although we didn't meet Wendy & Andrew they were very communicative via email.
We would certainly use this cottage again and recommend to friends.

Perfect for our weekend away, clean and comfortable, everything we needed on hand and a fantastic location, gorgous little sheltered courtyards front and back with seating to enjoy the sun, really close to the ocean and Comfort Inn Westshore Beach pub where we had a lovely meal.

We stopped at this gem in winter. Wendy and Andrew warmed the place up before our arrival. The beach was beautiful and so close to the property. The internet and cable tv was great. They had almost everything you might need.

Lovely place to stay and great to see a different side of Napier - Ahuriri has a lovely village and restaurant area and the beach is brilliant. It’s much safer than Napier city side beach.

Great little cottage, had everything we needed. Comfy beds, good shower. A bonus to have SKY tv. Great location, I had no idea we would be so close to the sea.

A well-appointed property, in a great location. All we needed for our overnight stay. Mattresses not as firm as we are used to but that didn't stop me having a good night's sleep. Toiletries in the shower were almost empty. Would come again and happy to recommend.

We had the best time what was ment to be a 1 night stay turned into 3. We loved everything about the property especially that is it so child friendly. You could just relax. Great hosts and definitely recommend

We had a great time at Burts on Gardiner. The house itself was clean, modern and had everything we needed and the location was a bonus. Right by the beach / waterfront and only 5 minutes from all the shops and restaurants.

Property was perfect for overnight stay for 4 of us. 2 couples. We were only in for a few hours as we were attending a wedding. Great comms from the host. Would happily recommend and visit again

Very pleasant renting experience! The property is in a great location, with everything you need within walking distance or a short car trip. The house was well cleaned, and checking in and out was a breeze. Looking forward to staying here another time!

I cannot recommend this accomodation more! Location is unreal and the home has such a welcoming feel and like a home away from home. Wendy and Andrew kept amazing communication during the uncertain times. Burt’s on Gardiner will forever be my first choice of accomodation in Napier 😊 thanks guys!

Lovely little spot on the beach with some good food about. We were there when Cyclone Gabrielle hit and Wendy and Andrew were the most gracious of hosts making sure we were okay and dealing with schedule changes. Highly recommend!

We were unable to stay in the accommodation. We were booked to attend the Art Deco weekend in Napier. Regretfully the cyclone resulted in all access to Napier being close and the Art Deco weekend being cancelled.

This is a small old-fashioned beach cottage in an area where other properties are being torn down and large modern tasteless properties are being built.
In addition to two small bedrooms with generously sized beds inside and a full living room and dining area, and a full kitchen, there are two lovely outdoor areas.
In the front, you have a beautiful garden area with a privacy fence, which ends up being a lovely outdoor living room. It was really quite magical to sit out there and have a coffee.
In the back, there is a full sized dining table with an umbrella, and a full-size propane grill. There is also covered parking off street if you have a small car. The indoor space would be comfortable for two couples with the outdoor space. I think more people would be comfortable staying he
We only spent two days, but probably could spend at least a week. The area is charming, there is a small grocery store within two blocks walk, a restaurant, a similar distance away, and of course, the beach is only half a block away.
Westshore is very quiet. There is an extensive trail along the beach, we did not take it, but it looks like you could go at substantial way up Hawke’s bay. Just a drive way away, many old warehouses have been converted into bars, and restaurants right across from the marina. We had several very good meals there. And, of course, Napier is just a short drive past that with its wonderful architecture, the aquarium, and many fine restaurants and shops.

My wife and I had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The Bach is in a very nice area steps from a beautiful park area with cycling path stretching alongside the beach. Just 5 minutes drive to shops and Napier CBD. Very private and quiet space to relax and recharge. Very clean and nicely equipped living space. Also a delight to have had the opportunity to meet our special hosts Wendy and Andrew and enjoy a nice cuppa. : ) Rob and Mary
