About this cottage rental
Perfect cottage for a couple on the banks of the picturesque Bayou Teche. Located in the heart of Cajun Country you are just a few miles from the world famous Tabasco factory at Avery Island, many festivals and the quaint downtown of New Iberia. This cottage is renovated sugar cane farm housing built in the early 1900's. This very comfortable cottage has a full/double bed and a pull out couch in the living room. Efficiency kitchen includes a mini fridge, microwave, sink and breakfast bar. For your evenings of relaxation the cottage offers a large shared screen in porch overlooking the peaceful waters of the Bayou Teche.

The cottage was exceptional!!!! We absolutely adored the property!! Just wished there was a full kitchen because I love to cook. But overall, I totally adored the spot. The property surroundings were breathtaking!!!! My husband was able to fish while I sat and observed from a screened in back porch. The views are gorgeous and we were able to come and go without disturbing the hosts. We will be returning for a short weekend getaway in the near future. Thanks to Nancy and Edward for sharing their beautiful property!!!!
