The amenities of this large beachfront resort are wonderful. The included breakfast was delicious and the use of the kayaks and paddle board was a nice way to enjoy Mushroom beach. It was really nice to have lockers, towels and showers to use after we already checked out but were still on the Island awaiting our late afternoon ferry.
Nothing terrible but it took a little bit of orienting each time to figure out how to get back to our bungalow.

This place is like a little paradise. From the moment you step on the boat transfer to the island and resort you are so well looked after. The staff cater to all your needs, providing free medical care for sea sickness on the boat and helping with requests once at the resort. The huts you stay in are absolutely delightful, even if they are compact, with a little daybed beneath each hut to relax and take it the atmosphere. The experience of waking up to the sound of bird song, and stepping out into beautifully manicured gardens with the most delightful plants and flowers and being just steps away from a calm and beautiful beach will never be forgotten.
At low tide, the beach provides hours of fun rock pool adventures for kids, who can find all sorts of crabs and sea animals as well as pieces of beautiful coral that has been washed up on shore.
The pontoon offers fantastic snorkelling for all abilities as well as banana boat rides, a fantastic slide, an aquatic viewing chamber for those who do not want to snorkel and sun beds to relax on.
The two pool areas were never too busy and were beautifully designed to allow children to play safely, even if they are unable to swim with areas only 1m in depth.
All staff, from the managers, waiting staff, reception staff, housekeeping and gardeners were polite, kind and always smiling. The young man in the coffee shop was kind and took time to explain the knowledge ceremony that was taking place during our stay which was fascinating.
We ate in every restaurant at the resort and would say the best is the Hai Ri Zen.
We loved our stay so much that we extended it by a day… if it weren’t for the fact that we had a flight booked to return to the uk I am sure we would have extended further.
The only let down at this resort is that you do not get nice coffee included in the breakfast… you have pay for it. I think for a resort of this caliber one free coffee should be included at breakfast… I hope this is taken on board!
Sadly, there are a lot of stray dogs on the beach at the resort who happily stroll into the restaurant areas making it uncomfortable for children and adults alike. The staff appear to be used to the dogs and will only try to get them to move on if you make a fuss. The dogs seem to be placid and disappear once ushered away, and I am really not sure that there is any way that the hotel could prevent them from entering - just providing this information for knowledge.
Lack of good free coffee at breakfast… just one would be very appreciated!

I consider the accommodation was a bit on the expensive side for what was on offer and a bit isolated . There are superior options in Bali for less money The beach has a big litter problem and stray dogs on it which lets down its location
