Good location, quiet and near the beach. Staff (David) was super nice: very attentive, and even let us heat up some food for our 4yo as we checked in very late after all eateries had closed. Breakfast was entirely customisable and good value, brought up to the room which was very handy with a 3mo&4yo. They let us check out at noon which was helpful with two young children. Internet/wifi barely worked though so main negative point as my husband was hoping to do some work in the evening… property could do with some TLC but it’s 200+ yo so understandable; all in all, the beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean, and the one night we stayed there was quite pleasant.

Breakfast was adequate. Room was dated and could do with an upgrade. Bed was comfortable.
The car park was scruffy and gave the impression of carelessness. Sleep was sporadic due to an overflow pipe pouring water into a tank at the rear of the property.
Breakfast tray was still in our room when we returned from a day out. This should have been cleared away. It wasn’t even taken away when the next breakfast tray was delivered the following morning. There was no fire alarm action notice inside our bedroom despite this being a legal requirement.
