The hotel was exceptional. Immaculately clean, with amazing service, particularly at the beach (Bay-Root). The beach itself felt very exclusive, quiet and serene, which made the whole experience incredibly relaxing. The overall standard and atmosphere were exactly what I was hoping for.
The main areas I feel could be improved are the arrival experience and transportation. We arrived early after a very early flight with the children, so we were understandably tired. I completely appreciate that check-in is at 3 pm and didn’t expect the room to be ready, but I did expect a little more warmth and hospitality while we waited. Even a simple gesture like offering us breakfast would have made a big difference and made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived.
Transportation to and from Marassi Marina was frustrating. G-Ride doesn’t work with international numbers, and we once waited 30 to 40 minutes just to get back to the hotel. The airport transfer, on the other hand, was an excellent experience, but quite pricey, so perhaps the pricing could be reconsidered.
The pool was also a little disappointing. It felt quite basic and didn’t really match the elegant and serene feel of the hotel.
Finally, the noise at night was difficult, with loud music from surrounding areas sometimes continuing past 3 am. I appreciate this may be outside the hotel’s control, but better soundproofing or double glazed windows would really help.
