The house had character, attractively furnished and was well equipped.
We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, so quiet. The owners were pleasant and helpful.

We loved our stay here so much last year that we had to come back, and once again, it did not disappoint.
If anything, our second stay made us appreciate the place even more. The location is absolutely perfect for anyone looking for peace and quiet, while still having plenty of things to see and do within a short drive.
The steading is just as beautiful, spacious and comfortable as we remembered, with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. And of course, the big fully enclosed garden remains a huge hit with our dog! The whole place has that wonderful feeling of being somewhere you can properly switch off and relax.
Nadja and Jan are genuinely fantastic hosts. They are so friendly and welcoming, always available if you need anything while giving you complete privacy to enjoy your stay. We were delighted to see them again, and it was lovely to be welcomed back. Jan’s recommendations once again gave us plenty of ideas for places to visit.
Another amazing holiday, another 10/10 stay, and we’re already looking forward to a third visit at some point. Thank you again for making us feel so at home!

Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und hat alles was das Herz begehrt. Die eingestellten Bilder werden der Unterkunft nicht gerecht, die Realität ist noch schöner. Und die beiden Vermieter, Nadja und Jan, sind supernett. Bei Bedarf immer ansprechbar und haben tolle Tipps für Ausflüge, was nicht in Reiseführer etc. steht. Wir haben zwei tolle Wochen in Woodside Steading verbracht und die Zeit verging viel zu schnell!

We stayed here for our honeymoon - we wanted complete peace and quiet in the countryside and this exceeded our expectations. The steading was absolutely perfect, very spacious with everything you need, the fresh eggs and shortbread are such a lovely touch!
The bed is big and extremely comfortable (amazing sleep every night!). Large fully enclosed garden was fantastic to sit out in and our dog thoroughly enjoyed her new surroundings. The place is fully equipped for everything you need for an enjoyable and relaxing stay with lots of things to see and do short drives away.
Nadja and Jan are incredible hosts, so friendly and on hand if anything is needed but respected our privacy too. Jan gave us recommendations on lots of places to visit - so much we didn’t have time for even with a two week stay so looks like we’ll just need to come back 😅 10/10 in every way and we can’t wait to visit again
