Village Inn & Suites - Sudbury

Für 1 Nacht ok, gleich neben der Straße. Der Besitzer gab uns ein anderes Zimmer, weil in dem von uns gebuchten, sehr starker Rauchgeruch war. Leider war das andere Zimmer auch sehr muffig, schade. Hab mich nicht wohl gefühlt

Das Bettzeug schien nicht frisch, und der ganze Raum roch muffig. Ausserdem Insektenfallen aufgestellt, im Kühlschrank ein Päckchen Natron (?) und Lebensmittel vom Vormieter. Auch die Hinterlegung einer Kaution finde ich nicht gerechtfertigt

Village Inn& suites was a good place for an overnight stop. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom facilities adequate and the parking of course was right in front of the room. There are a pizza hut and Tim Hortons a short drive down the road so quick food was possible for dinner and breakfast. One bonus too was that since we were headed west, we could just stay on that old Highway 17 which cuts across and rejoins the new TransCanada Highway 17 rather than backtracking into Sudbury to continue on our journey. The supplemental charge for our two small dogs was also reasonable. Also, there was a nice grassy area in the back of the motel where we could throw the ball for the dogs.

It was right on the highway so there was some traffic noise but really not unreasonable.
