Excellent choice for the active traveller - walks, stairs, swimming. Perfect for your rest, too - Zen-style atmosphere with scented candles, lots of green plants and flowers, clean towels, and bed sheets. 10-15 minutes' walk from Old Town Sozopol and the central beach, Great view of the New town and the sea (in the distance). Quiet neighborhood. Very kind and welcoming hosts.
The panoramic view comes at a cost - lots of stairs and steep streets.

Fantastic hotel run by a lovely family. Staff and owners are very friendly and helpful. Very accommodating with a late check in which we really appreciated. My husband and I loved it so much we extended our stay. Excellent location only 5 minutes or so from the beach with lots of cafes, restaurants and shops etc., near by but very peaceful of a night. Great sized room with big balcony and a lovely sea view. All the extras like tea/coffee, fridge etc. Our room is kept spotlessly clean with plenty of clean sheets, towels etc., Big bed and super comfortable. The whole hotel is spotless and always smells fresh!! Beautiful pool area with sun beds and seating. I would give Hotel Family Sophie 11 out of 10 if I could, I can't speak highly enough of it and my husband and I can't wait to return. Thank you for a fantastic stay!!!

The hotel is very pleasant and cozy. It is conveniently located near the Central Beach. The owners are a very lovely family who take great care of their guests.
The lack of an elevator, since I travel with a lot of luggage 😊
