The room was cleaned daily and very well. The breakfast was amazing and the room had a nice vintage feel to it. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to a major tram station which is nice if you plan to use public transport.
Depending on what kind of tourism you plan to do, perhaps the location in the old part of Istanbul can be a bit overwhelming crowd-wise but also in terms of reaching more local restaurants/ other attractions. However, if you like exploring cities on foot/ by public transport like us this should not be a problem.
The furniture in the room, especially in the bathroom could be updated to give it a more premium feel.

Breakfast was really good. Housekeeping staff were really attemptive and friendly.
The hotel is quite old and showing its age. It really needs a thorough renovation to meet the standards of the 4-star rating it claims. Many areas feel outdated—old appliances, aging AC units, and even broken glass in some places. The room offerings also vary noticeably in quality, which makes the experience inconsistent.
Additionally, be cautious with staff recommendations. We trusted the concierge for our first dinner and ended up paying about 1,000 TL more than we should have. This left us feeling misled rather than supported.
