Super Kurzaufenthalt

Sehr freundliche Gastgeber in einem ordentlichen Haus.Das Frühstück ist gut und mehr als ausreichend.Die Lage ist zentral und man stolpert regelrecht in die Bergbahn 😀. Da kommt man gerne wieder ! Danke ✌️

Över förväntan, fanns något för alla. Goda pålägg och scrambled äggs var perfekt som en stabil frukost. Trevligt frukostrum.

Clean and comfortable in a great location!

The location is perfect and the breakfast is great! Clean and comfortable rooms! Hosts are wonderful and willing to help you with recommendations, they stored my bag while I went hiking for a few days.

Wonderful place, great staff, great location!

Haus Monika und Haus Claudia was great! The location is perfect. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. It is directly across from the main gondola in Mayrhofen. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had everything you need. Nice balcony. Breakfast was great and parking on site. Also and ski and snowboard room with boot warmers. I would totally recommend this place and I would stay there again if I’m in the area! Thank you staff Hause Monika und Haus Claudia!

The guesthouse is really great when you look at its location (opposite the Penkenbahn lift!), it has a good breakfast and is cleaned well. However, we had mixed feelings about the hospitality. Upon arrival we found out that we had to store our snowboards in a room downstairs. In itself a convenient idea in terms of keeping the hotel tidy, but the room was unsupervised and accessible from outside - not a nice idea for someone with expensive gear. When we pointed this out, we were addressed very unkindly about this. Perhaps we are too cautious, but some empathy in this would have been nice. Although the pension itself is good, the hospitality feeling stayed the same during our stay.

The perfect first family holiday with our little one. We are looking forward to staying again.

The whole apartment was spotless, tidy and fresh. It felt comfortable with a real ‘family-feel’ so we were able to settle in straight away. The new kitchen was amazing and equipped with everything we could require and more to self-cater during our holiday. The central location is perfect, not noisy and we still had a view of the green fields and surrounding mountains. It was beautiful to wake up to each morning, especially with a balcony for every room. Everyone we spoke to were so warm and friendly - especially Martina, she really made us feel welcome, and appreciate everything she did for us! We will definitely be staying again.

If I had to be really picky… my husband is quite tall and broad, the shower cubicle was a little snug for him but stood it’s purpose and this isn’t an unusual issue for him! It was perfect for me and my mother. And appreciated the provided shampoo/shower gel and other bits and bobs. The sink was also big enough to be able to bathe our 3 month old son in too, which is an added bonus!

Very friendly staff and helpful. Easy check in even though I arrived late in the evening. Clean room, tasty breakfast.

No air conditioning, so it got a little hot in the room.

Unbeatable location and great value for money

Location is unbeatable. Simply unbeatable. Free private parking is also available right outside the house (it's the house owned car park) even if booking.com says its not! You can also book whichever days you want and are not limited to Saturday to Saturday block booking. You will not get closer to the lift than at this house. Restaurants within 50 metres. Large supermarket within 35 metres. You are also close to the Centre of town. Breakfast great. The B&B has recently been taken over by the next generation of the family. It was great before, but now fresh wind and new ideas are flowing into the house bringing a new, bright, motivational attitude to the whole place. Let's be honest - rooms are not the most modern but they have been renovated, they are clean, large and are exceptional value for money and have everything you need. Table, chairs, flat screen tv, excellent WiFi, common fridge in the corridor for all guests. Comfortable bed. Great water pressure in the shower. The Ski cellar is on the ground floor meaning when you get your equipment then there are no stairs to go up or down. I will certainly be going again but book early - it is very popular!

Booking.com states that there is no parking. This is incorrect!!! There is free private parking in the house owned car park immediately at the front of the house.
