Couldn’t have a more generous and attentive host than Aayu! Our first floor room was very comfortable, with a huge bed and breezy balcony under a large mango tree. Close to the beach, good eating options and the train station. Breakfast on our first morning was a home cooked banquet of choices and on our second day early airport departure, Aayu prepared a delicious bag of goodies for travelling. She even included extra mangosteen fruits which she knew we loved. Her son drove us to visit a local garden and also to the airport from Bentota. We enjoyed talking with our host about many things and appreciated her insights on many aspects of Sri Lankan life. A very authentic and enjoyable stay in lovely Bentota. Thank you Aayu 🙏
