We had an amazing warm and welcoming experence in this hotel and in Brunei in general.

We like that the room has fridge and microwave, so it was easy if we want to reheat food or prepare hot meals. Bathroom was big. Amenities in the bathroom was good. Soap and shampoo smelt nice. The bed was large and can even fit 3 medium sized adult. In our case, 2 adults and 1 child. There was no smart TV, but at least there were few channels. There was a restaurant as well, so since I was the only one hungry and wanted to eat at the restaurant, takeaways for the kids.
Even though the place is situated at a good location, there were dogs everywhere. We wanted to walk to the nearby shop just across the street, but had to cancel due to dogs along the road. My kids were also afraid, even if the dogs did not bother people.
There were complimentary coffee and tea, but our teabags were left opened not in their pack, while the other room had new teabags (maybe) which were in their pack. We requested for connecting rooms, but it was not really connecting, no doors in between.

The concierge staff was very friendly and helpful, as a female traveling alone I felt quite safe and secure in the environment. I was in Brunei for just 1 night for a flight layover, it was close to the airport so it was great.
The facilities in the room were quite old and worn. Room is big but furnishings looked rather ancient.
