Breakfast was superb! Anna Maria was a wonderful cook and made us feel special every morning.
The location of the hotel is perfect, private beach, beach bar and restaurant and directly opposite Mt Vesuvius.
Walk to town and Marina Grande.

Hotel Desiree is a lovely hotel, literally 10 min walk in to centre Sorrento.
When we arrived by coach from Naples, we were very hot & bothered with luggage, getting off at the coach station, and not really sure where exactly Hotel Desiree actually was, we were able to catch a red local bus 0008, which stops at Hotel Bel Air, 20metres from Desiree, perfect!
But once we figured it out, it was only a 15 min walk from the bus station, the little bus is useful if carrying luggage.
The staff at the hotel are very welcoming, nothing is to much bother for them.
The lady in charge of Breakfast, can't remember her name, she is just wonderful!
We had a room with a terrace facing the sea, it was lovely.
The private beach is a nice surprise along with the roof top terrace & bar.
I would highly recommend this hotel, great value for money, although an old building, very clean.
No kettle in our room, but on every floor there is a fridge where you can store milk, beer, etc.
On top of each fridge is a kettle & complimentary tea &
coffee, a real bonus first thing in the morning.
Don't look anywhere else, book this!

location, free parking, breakfast beyond croissant and coffee which is ok like for budgetary stay.
