The breakfast was good, with a decent variety. The location was excellent! Walking to distance to main attractions.

1. Good location, very close to T1 tram which connects to Sultanahment, Fatih etc in 10-15 mins.
2. Decent sized rooms with all basic and functional amenities, all works well. It is not a luxury hotel, but everything you need is there.
3. 24/7 from desk, nice staffs.
1. Lift is very slow, esp during busy hours.
2. Breakfast can be improved. One live counter and some more international options will be great. All the options are very Turkish.

Most of the staff were friendly
The hotel is old, so the rooms although clean they are old.
Breakfast is good, but only at 7-8am (when it opens) then it can get messy especially 8.30 to 10.
Pool was open only for 4 hours during the day and it didn't even work while I was there (I booked the hotel because of its pool). So don't book if you are looking for a pool. Also, the sauna area and the pool is run apparently by different company, and they have their own reception and they are not friendly.
From my experience, for the same price, you can get better and more modern hotel and with much better service (because I stayed at a different hotel for a few days in Istanbul).
I recommend checking the hotel from different sources as well (such as as google review etc) not just booking.com, because I relied only on the reviews and photos on booking.com and I had a wrong impression.
