Staff, although being mainly quite young, were all very polite and attentive. We were only staying for one night being a Sunday hubby opted for the Sunday roast dinner which was served with two separate servings of freshly cooked vegetables. Very tasty indeed! 👍
Two bars to choose from and a beer garden overlooking the town square afforded lots of seating options.
Having our dog with us it was very handy, just a short walk away, took us to the riverside which proved very popular with our dog and local dogs too.
Our breakfast on Monday morning was included in our booking price, however due to staff illness, it was unavailable. There were other guests in the same position as us and as there was no one on site we contacted to owners (both contact numbers are on the key fob to your room). He explained that he was trying to contact other staff to come in and would keep us updated. Unfortunately there was no one available and we had to leave without our breakfast.
ON A POSITIVE NOTE THOUGH WE DID GET A £20 REFUND BEING THE COST OF THE TWO BREAKFASTS THAT WE HAD PAID FOR IN OUR BOOKING ✔

Its centrally located. There was an excellent breakfast choice. My bed was comfy. It was quiet.
Just that the shared shower near my room didn’t work. The manager showed me where there was another I could use.

Convenient location for shops and nearby walks , good breakfast, clean bedroom and shared bathroom. Ample parking nearby. Easy check in and out.
Variable/low water pressure affected the operation of the shower causing mild inconvenience.

Great location friendly staff and very cheap.
You get what you pay for, there was no hot water in the bathroom (again) but everything else was great.
