Located in Gearhart, this lovely condo for $306 per night is a great option for your next trip. You must be 21 to RESERVE and CHECK-IN THIS UNIT REQUIRES A THREE NIGHT MINIMUM ON ALL MAJOR HOLIDAY PERIODS. Science tells us that life on earth may have begun over three billion years ago, on the rocks of Shark Bay in western Australia. We brought the Australian rocks to the Oregon Coast, to the shores of Gearhart, for you to renew, refresh, relax, and experience a new beginning. Our family's condo has been beautifully remodeled in contemporary fashion. It’s a spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit on the second floor, with decks front and back -- both with awesome views of the ocean. King bed in the main bedroom, full and 1 twin bed in the second bedroom, and a sleeper in the living room. Easily sleeps 6 to 8 depending on how cozy you make it. An inflatable bed is stashed in the closet for larger parties. Step on to the Ausse Rocks in the main bath - it's a spa-experience not to be missed. Private high-speed wi-fi and wired internet access is available. Full media center with very user-friendly operation, including: access to thousands of hours of movies and television shows from our own in-house server; a web browser to open your own Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu Plus account, or any other, through the browser. (complementary Netflix account provided); or just play your own Blu-Ray or DVDs from your collection. And, you also have access to plain-old cable channels! A Nintendo Wii U is available, loaded with games and wi-fi access to create your own gaming experience. Enjoy year round, from the 4th of July parade and fireworks just off the beach, to the magnificent crashing surf in winter storms, all just a short stroll away. No doubt summer is very popular on the coast, but we prefer the storm watching season. Experience the power of nature – inside a cozy condo with a fire in the fireplace, or right on the beach experiencing the power of nature (a couple of rain suits and gear are available). The amenities here are endless, golf, fishing, hiking, antiquing, and the best razor clamming on the Oregon coast. Our condo offers a very pet friendly atmosphere, with no size limit on your four legged family member. ‘Big Dog’ bed & bowls provided. Pet fee is $20.00 per night, per pet. (max 3 pets) **Please note this unit is accessible by stairs only** Access to building with POOL ONLY. Smoking is not allowed on decks or in public areas.

First time in Gearhart! Beaches are spectacular, condo was very cute and decorated special.. the main bathroom is really something! There really is nothing in town so make sure you stock up before you go…..was crazy busy when we were there so even getting into what appears to be the only restaurant was impossible.

Great beach house, immaculately clean, and beautifully decorated.
We loved this place and would definitely stay here again! However, nobody bothered to mention that us that you have to drive a mile down the road in order to check in. After a 12 hour drive with our 3 dogs, we were exhausted. We found the condo with no problems, and walked around the property for 20-30 minutes trying to find the office. We finally thought to call the number that VRBO supplied us, and the lady that answered the phone explained to my husband where we needed to go. Why could this have not been given to us before hand??? Or even place some kind of a sign on the property with directions/instructions?? The house was even better than we had anticipated. We stayed there for 2 days before we discovered the beautiful master bathroom! The door had been closed and we had assumed that it was a locked closet. What a great surprise! The mattress on the master bed leaves a lot to be desired and we both had back pain from sleeping on it. But all in all, we LOVED this place! Very, VERY happy with the ease of getting to the beach from the house.

Highly recommend. Great location, steps away from the ocean and McMenamins lodge. 5 to 8 mins to seaside and 15 to cannon beach. Will defiantly book again.

The property was very well-decorated, comfortable, and relaxing. We were sad that the hot tub wasn't available, but everything else was spectacular. The place was very spacious and had nice amenities. We did have to wait to get checked in even though we arrived on time, but the staff was quick to respond. If you plan to cook, I would recommend bringing your own cookware. While it is a full kitchen, cookware and kitchen tools are limited.

Relaxing winter get-away.
My wife and I have a great time here. The location is great, the unit was clean, everything was in working order, and had everything we needed and more. The beach is just steps away. We appreciated that Gearhart is much quieter than Seaside, but still very close as is Canon Beach. Highly recommend this place.

Great beach spot, hiccup with the check-in process
We had a wonderful time at the coast in this great spot. We loved the views of the ocean, short walk to an amazing beach, comfortable bed, and well-furnished home. It was great that we could bring our dog with us to enjoy the beach as well. My only complaint was that the check in process was not clear or communicated to us prior to arrival. We arrived late and in the dark and I scoured my email for the usual "how to check in" info that generally comes with staying at VRBO properties. I then called the property management company after not finding anything, and the woman I spoke to said she was busy with other guests and would have to call me back. Ten minutes later after standing around in the dark I called again and told her I was just looking for the check in code. This is when I was informed that you had to go around the block to the property management office to obtain the keys. It wasn't a huge deal breaker, but it definitely could have been better laid out beforehand so we could've stopped at the office on our way in.

Nice condo, clueless property management staff
Overall, we had a good experience staying at this condo. Spacious enough for a family of 5 and our dog. Has everything you need, comfy furniture through out, and the decor was fun and tasteful for a beach cottage. Not on the beach, but walking distance. Washer and dryer, electric bbq grill out back. The pool was in a separate, small building, kinda stuffy and smelly in there, but the kids loved it. The only annoying experience I encountered was with the property management company. I booked the condo about a week in advance and they still failed to email me check-in instructions which bugged me because I had to call them when I got to Gearhart to figure out where to go to get keys. Not only that, I received an email at 2:19 pm saying that my payment was processed, and then another email at 2:29 pm saying that my payment was cancelled. I'm like, what?? We just got to town and called you about where to check-in!! I waited till I got there to ask about it. The front desk girl said that another family with my same last name checked-in the same day so she accidentally ran my cc through. Uhhh, but we have different first names, right? And we're staying in two different condos, right? Why would you run MY credit card with MY name on it, through MY reservation, for someone who's staying in a different condo, with different reservations, just because we have the same last name? I wouldn't have put the Property management company on blast if it were one incident or the other, but come on, you're playin' with my emotions... Do your job!

Beach view
I love the location of this condo. Aussie Rock is an upstairs unit so you get views of the ocean and the condo is steps away from the beach. I have stayed here several times, but it's been 3 years since I last visited, and the shower floor is showing its age. I do not like when property owners charge a pet fee because my dog is quieter and cleaner than any human. The grounds are clean and attractive. I prefer to stay in Gearhart because there is a lot less traffic on the streets and beach. I will return and recommend Aussie Rock as a great place to stay.

fantastic place to spend a few nights, especially with the accessibility to the beach. great view and the home itself is very well decorated and homey. has most major cooking appliances, only thing missing was a blender. the addition of the WiiU was great as well, thank you!

love the view - dirty unit and no service
While the property was nice and the view excellent, there was white dog hair all over the unit. We received no housekeeping service and therefore had no coffee or clean towels for our second morning. I would not choose to stay here again if the problem wasn't resolved and think we should be refunded a portion of our stay.

Aussie really Rocks!!
We loved our time at Aussie Rocks!! So peaceful and restful. The condo is very nicely decorated and very comfortable. We had everything we needed to stay and relax. The views were great and so close to the beach. Plenty of room to spread out for the entire family. There is even a Wi so the kids could keep themselves busy. The rainshower invtge master bath was excellent, so relaxing!! But honestly the beach was the best part. Thank you for a great weekend!! We'll definetly be back.

We had a great time. Condo is decorated in a fun way, very comfortable and less then one block from the beach. The only small complaints are the vinyl flooring is peeling up in quite a few places and there is a shower door on the bathtub, making bathing young kids a bit challenging. We will definitely return here - the issues are not enough to keep us away!
