Comfortable room for the night before a flight.Good breakfast & staff were very helpful & let us leave our bag before the 2pm check in. Good shower
No AC, just a fan which was noisy

Paula at the front desk was excellent. She was pleasant and quick to answer all my questions about the hotel and restaurant suggestions nearby. The rooms are newer. Bathrooms were small - just for one person but that was common in all the hotels I stayed at in Madeira. This hotel has great location. I loved that the beach was just a block away and there were stores and restaurants close by.
There was a curly hair on my vanity - it was clean but that was not a great impression. The bed was comfortable but there were no pillow selections - just two that were the same - big and thick where I like a thinner more squishy type. I had to make a pillow out of my packing cube so my neck would not hurt. There was also a slight sewer smell in the bathroom. No A/C, but luckily it cools down at night. However, if you really like it cold at night, you may want a hotel with A/C. All the hotels along the beach are under the flight path for departing flights, so when sliders are open to help get air circulating in the room, you do hear the jets, but thankfully they are not departing in middle of the night.

Very good location close to sea front and old town.
Nice breakfast.
There was no aircon although it was possible to ask for a fan.
The bathroom was very nice and looked fairly new but it was small.

We stayed here for the location being close to the airport. It was plesant enough for an overnight stay. Its clean and basic but good enough for an overnight. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again if I needed to. The beds are comforable - if you like a firm mattress.
I asked for a double room and bath which they tried to accommodate, we had a bath/shower however found the plastic in the bath flexed so much (not normal!) that I thought I would break it (I am small 5ft2 and averge weight for my height)! It was even worse for my husband who is taller and weighs more. However having said that it was a nice bathroom. In the bedroom we had 2 single beds which we had to push together. More comfortable pillows would have been helpful. You only get the basic.
