The location! The view from our balcony, the warm welcome we received- the receptionists, Angela and Laura were so friendly and helpful. Although relatively basic, the room was clean and comfortable, with air conditioning. We enjoyed the balcony, the views and especially the sunset are beautiful. Angela explained the main transport options to us, buses and trains to Sorrento/Naples along with a map which she marked stop locations on. She also gave us recommendations for restaurants and a beach club down at the Marina.Very helpful. There is a sea elevator close by, to save the long steep walk to and from the Marina. (€1 each way)Breakfast was excellent, and the dining room has amazing views across the bay of Naples with a great view of Capri.The hotel occupies the top floors of a building. There is a lift to access the reception floor, but no lift higher. There are maybe another 20 steps to access the bedrooms- another consideration if you have heavy/large luggage.
There is a request bus stop opposite the hotel (bus 008E) which goes to and from Sorrento Marina piccola (Unico campania app for schedule) in a loop. We used it to catch the hydrofoil back to Naples. Also, the pizza place just along from the hotel with terrace overlooking the bay was excellent! Supermarket about a 10 minute walk away.
All in all a great place to stay, economical for the area, and a wonderful team of staff.
We liked everything about the hotel.
Worth noting - not a problem for us, but the walk from the train station is steep along narrow roads. You do need to have good mobility to get the most from your stay here.

Amazing accomodation! Our seaview room was better than it looked in the pictures, you cant get enough of these views really. What makes it even better is the staff- super friendly and helpful! Very decent breakfast too. Also the location is crucial. You are just a little outside from the city which makes it very enjoyable late night when you want to relax and enjoy the views from the balcony without the noise but at the same time you are a few minutes away from everything. Will book again if am visiting Sorrento. Much love!

I loved that the hotel started on the 5th floor. Great views from our balcony and the restaurant. Very easy to find, great signage.

Time to change matrasses and pillows!!! Really! Super old and uncomfortable. No hairdryer.
