Excellent breakfast with beautiful views of the sea/coast. The room was very well appointed & very comfortable & clean. The main pool is lovely & large & clean.
We we left a little confused about the other numerous pools (other then the main pool) - I think this area needs a rethink.

The property itself is very beautiful. Sadly, that is where the five-star experience ends.
For the prices charged, the hotel is astonishingly badly run and constantly feels like it is trying to squeeze more money out of you. If you don’t have a car, you’re essentially stranded and forced to use their private taxis, at around at least €50 a trip.
Breakfast was genuinely terrible. You had to book a time slot and the quality was nowhere near what you would expect from a five-star property.
Dining was equally poor: very limited options, with the only proper dinner restaurant costing around €120 per person. Otherwise, you were left with a very limited room-service menu.
Even the car rental arranged through the hotel was bizarre — the car arrived at 10:30am and had to be returned that same evening, despite charging a full daily rate.
One day we left the room at 11 am returned at 6.30 pm only to find that the staff had just begun to clean the room!
The whole experience was hugely disappointing. The building and setting are five-star; the management, service and guest experience are closer to two-star. I genuinely cannot understand how this is classified as a five-star hotel or associated with Small Luxury Hotels of the World.
