Large rooms are a bonus. Good air conditioning. Location excellent.
Parking in town is not easy; we need dedicated parking. Next time, make sure Porta Vecchia Beach is open before going to Monopoli.

Monopoli is beautiful! The location was wonderful since it was very central, across the Cattedrale Maria Santissima della Madia and very close to shops, cafes and restaurants.Very quiet at night. The accommodations were very comfortable and extremely clean. The breakfast was very good and the coffee was great.
The staff, Mauro, Alessia and Nicoletta were exceptional. Excellent communication prior to arrival and during the stay. They were very attentive, hospitable and made us feel at home. We would definitely recommend Palazzo Gasparino.
The lighting in the room could be brighter and even though the room had open shelves and hanging space for clothes, they could add an additional dresser with drawers.

The interior design was nice and the location was exceptional
It is not a hotel and should not be marketed as such. It was more an air bnb . No on site reception, no proper coffee/kettles and no daily cleaning (maybe once in our 3 nights). Billing did not match the booking and zero explanations when queried. ‘It is what it is’ was the explanation. Shower stalls didn’t always drain properly and one of our rooms was flooded. But worst of all were the steps - beware of booking the suite. Beautiful terrace but the ladder to the room was ridiculous. This was not communicated prior so they should be more transparent
