The staff was so friendly and passionate about their property. They told us where to go to see the sunset. We met the family dog who also helped us go up to where the sunset was. Dinner was still delicious and the next morning as breakfast, the monkeys were everywhere. They were so cute. He was telling us all about them and then he took us outside and showed us a toucan up in the trees and it was just a really lovely experience.
A little bit better signage at the property or in the check-in instructions. It just was a little frustrating. Not enough to dampen our visit though

It was a pleasant stay, the location was phenomenal with the views and eat to find and walking to the dining hall along the path was very creative and adventurist for the short few minutes.

Belcruz Family Lodge was the best place we stayed in Costa Rica. The host was very kind, helped us with everything, booking programs, making recommendations, telling us a lot about the animals living there, and suggested programs, like night walk, that was super cool - we saw so many animals! You can walk on small forest trails in the property, we met a raccoon, heard monkeys, and saw lots of birds. The food in the restaurant was super good. The restaurant has a very nice view of the forest. We saw monkeys from the restaurant window, just an arm's reach away from us. The view from our room was also very nice. The view of the mountains is impressive while sitting on the terrace. We saw hummingbirds right in front of our terrace. The host recommended us a sunset lookout point above the property, which was also breathtaking. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean, the breakfast was very delicious, we also got homemade jam. Thank you for this unforgettable experience!

I love the location, and the fact there is a spot to go watch the sunset that is a short uphill walk! Then restaurant and staff were nice!
I understand we are in the nature and the location. But there were tons of spiders in our room and a couple bugs.
