Excellent hotel for a short break to relax. Pool area is perfect, with 2 pools and bar open until late. Rooms need a little updating but if you are looking for a break to relax, the hotel offers value for money. Near the hotel you can enjoy the beach (spiaggia libera is fine), which is a 10 min walk. There are also restaurants and a bar outside of the hotel which offer alternatives. Buses are also comfortable to enjoy a day at Pisa and Livorno, approx 45 mins to Pisa and 30mins to Livorno. Tirrenia Belveder is nice for a quick evening out and dinner (10min bus from hotel).
Rooms need some updating.

Staff were nice and very helpful.
Hotel was clean tidy, bit dated but had what you needed
Breakfast was good variety and hours were good
Good value for money
Near to the beach short walk
Hairdryer in room not great. Take your own
Bit dated with some repairs required
Blood from gnats on Walls and curtains
Had a small bar by the pool but that was it
Entertainment was same every night
Local bars and restaurants not great which was disappointing for Italy. There was one that was really nice fish place just near the supermarket But repetitive as there wasn’t much else of good quality

The separate buildings with accommodation, nicely laid out on a leafy resort.
A bit dark to walk around in the evenings. Needed more lighting.

Location was decent if you have a car and the beach being next door was a plus
Room was not properly cleaned throughout our stay, shower shield was leaking and was not fixed, bed was fine, but pillows were not supportive, sofa had no cushions for some reason and room showed lots of wear and tear
