Nestled in Norris Lake, this attractive house for $700 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. This large 8 bedroom, 4 1/2 bath house is situated on a quite finger of Norris Lake but just minutes away from the famous jumping bridge, Sugar Hollow marina and other wonderful amenities that Norris has to offer. With enough room for multiple families and two kitchens, you can spend your day on the water and evenings on the 3-tiered deck making memories with family and friends. Each floor has an open floor plan with large gathering areas. The great rooms are equipped with a big screen TV and sound systems. Satellite TV is available throughout the home, with over 200 channels of programming, including over 20 movie channels. Unlimited, free WiFi is available on the entire premises of Dockside Dreaming. Each level of Dockside Dreaming has a deck with direct access from the house. A gas grill available for you to use and outdoor furniture is on every level. The lower level has a hot tub. A brand new private dock has space to accommodate 3 boats (one covered) and the upper deck space is filled with lounge chairs and a table along with a slide and jumping gate for hours of fun.

Two thumbs up from our family group of 24! This was our first time to Norris Lake and we could not have picked a better house and location. The house description is accurate and the owner is extremely responsive. It’s easy to see that the owners are continuously investing in their rental property. Highlights for us- definitely the double decker dock with slide and jumping gate. The provided kayaks were a great way to explore the lake and to easily paddle to the nearby jumping bridge. The large gathering areas on each level were big enough for us to all be together; or alternatively provided the option to spread out into smaller groups. The main kitchen is very open and can easily accommodate a lot of people without causing congestion. Very comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen(s), strong wi-fi connection, great floor plan. We had a great week at the lake- and would definitely stay at Dockside Dreaming again.

Easy checkin, great communication with owners, very spacious for our family of 16, clean and attractive with new flooring and new paint, awesome dock, plenty of outside seating on the decks and dock, plenty of comfortable beds, great Wi-Fi connection, plenty of parking for 5 vehicles right at the front door. New heater installed on hot tub when we advised it wouldn’t warm up. And uncovered, wet garbage from previous renters was disposed of immediately when we notified the owners. We did need to purchase 2 kayak paddles since only 1 was available. Loved our stay, and feel blessed that the weather was good!

The house is in a great location. The kids had a wonderful time just swimming off the docs. Boat, Wave runners, Pontoon rentals is right around the corner. Our family had a wonderful time here.

Overall, we were very disappointed in the overall appearance and cleanliness of this property. The carpet especially on the stairs was incredibly dirty as well as many of the bathrooms. There were holes in walls, damaged base boards, and damaged furniture. The shower door in the master bathroom would not shut and there was a leak in the laundry room. There were also some safety issues including a very loose railing on the first floor outdoor deck as well as open electric outlets. Also, 3 of the 4 kayaks sunk as we were trying to use them. The location of the home was really great though especially being back in the cove and close to the jumping bridge and the lay out of the house worked well for us. We will definitely go back to Lake Norris but we would not rent this home again.

This is our fourth time staying in this area. This is by far the fewest amount of steps we have had. The younger kids loved the second floor kitchen and tv for the evening games and the older ones could be upstairs with their own games. Nice deck/ boat dock. Good place just to hang out in the water, little traffic. Close to jumping bridge. Great time.

The property was clean and well maintained. The owners were very helpful and responsive. Lake was beautiful. The only complaint would be the amount of stairs from the house to the lake but it is what it is. Overall, we had a great family vacation!

We had 14 people from our family stay at this property and we had more than enough room for us all to not feel crowded. We enjoyed the dock with the slide and the owner having Kayak's available was nice for the kids to go and play in the lake. We did use the community pool which was nice for the little kids. Would recommend this property for anyone staying in the Norris Lake area.
