Bavaria at its best

Location is superb and the lake views are just WOW!

Weekend parking difficult but when it’s blue sky 32c everyone wants to be by the lake. We had kids above us running around all hours making a racket but they were moved after reporting.

In general, very nice hotel, great location, great facilities- pool, lake, restaurants

The breakfast was very delicious; everything fresh, nice variety of foods

The rooms are a bit too small and a bit too tired - renovation would help

Overpriced, run down hotel.

Staff were pleasant.

Hotel in general was very disappointing. It's very run down, the garden area is dangerous, (uneven paving), nothing was open. The restaurant, the bar. The room hasn't been dusted in a long time and need a deep clean. The price is disgusting for what they offer. The website is very misleading. Wouldn't recommend unless desperate. Won't be staying again. When we left the owner was complaining.

Wonderful!

This is a lovely Hotel! Both times I have stayed here I have been very satisfied. I’ve gotten great rooms with view over the mountains or the lake (which is beautiful by the way). The staff is polite and helpful, and the food is amazing! Great breakfast and varied courses in the restaurant. The hotel also has a nice Biergarten just by the lake, which is the perfect spot to enjoy a meal, or just a beer while taking in the stunning view of Schliersee.

The only thing I have in mind is when we first entered our room, there was a funny smell coming from the bathroom, like if it hadn’t been used for a while. This was only a bit of a problem the first night. It got much better after we left windows and the terrace door open, and turned on the shower and sink for a while. Otherwise the room seemed clean and renovated.

Beautiful location, rooms need a bit of attention and an update

The location on the lake is beautiful, as long as you have the weather for it. Lots of walks and hikes in the local area to enjoy. The restaurants and bars were great for a quick drink or food and breakfast was a good way to start the day, with a selection of hot and cold options. Staff were all friendly and the drink upon check-in was a nice addition.

Our main issue was comfort in the room - we both hardly slept over the 3 days we stayed. The pillows in the room were nothing short of atrocious, it was very very warm and unfortunately our room faced the main road, so leaving the window open to get some air was impossible as traffic was so noisy. The bathroom as a whole was a decent size but inexplicably had the smallest shower known to man, which was extremely hard to use as a fully grown adult. The area around the pool could use a bit of love, but perhaps because we came at the end of the summer season, they are close to shutting it down for the winter anyway.

Would not hesitate to recommend and to return to this delightful Bavarian resort.

From the ample and delicious breakfast to the delightful sauna and ever-present Mountain View’s, my stay at the Schliersee Hof was a delight. The staff was always friendly and helpful. All in all, would highly recommend this hotel.

The patio stones were uneven in spots-could cause a slip. More parking would help.

Polite staff Wonderful location and surroundings

Noise (booming basses?) early in the morning and late in the evening :-( Unpleasant other guest group Unpleasant check-in (no spacious reception area; had to type data into the mobile phone which I think was already there) Various details that in my opinion do not correspond to 4 stars (such as shower hose that kinks easily)

hotel is located on a beautiful lake and has beautiful interior! lovely sauna and amazing breakfast with wonderful views of the lake! great staff very helpful! beautiful comfortable rooms! 10/10! amazing outdoor area too and private access to lake! would be fab on a sunny day!

Perfect location. Beatifull hotel and somehow renovated Nice staff Very good breakfast

The pillows were very high......only one pillow available The shower could be better. The water pressure was very low. The rest of it was magnificent

Nice, but would have been better to have a full lake view.

Breakfast in the panoramic restaurant was the best.

We paid a pretty penny for our room and only had a side view of the lake :(

Perfect place to relax after hiking

Personnel was great, very friendly. We took a room with a lake view - it is slightly more expensive than normal rooms, but it is definitely worth it - big terrace, no noise from the street, very spacious room. Sauna was small but enough for two people (please note that you need to book it if you want to go - at least it was like that when we were there).

Restaurant is a bit expensive downstairs, so we went to another one nearby
