Absolutely great location, necessities like transport, markets, and restaurants all so handily nearby. The space is large and comfortable, and the AC was definitely needed during this very hot week,and each room had a very powerful fan which was excellent.
There were a few small quirks with the space, some which come down to it being an old building while others are a little bit of maintenance. Nothing that would stop me from bookinh again! Beds are very firm which suited me perfectly but less so my friends.

The location is wonderful - so close the via Garibaldi for local shops, bars and cafes and then to the stunning view of St Marks Basin with 2 reasonably priced cafes with one of the worlds greatest views. The apartment is spacious, well equipped and mostly cool enough in the extreme heat when we were there (+30 degrees). It was good for 6 people and can go up to 9. Two good bathrooms, a good well equipped kitchen and a zig zag balcony that can just about seat 5/6 at a pinch.
It can be a little noisy in the evening but that is a small price to pay to love in a local, friendly area complete with nearby cats! It would be good to include a floor plan in the listing as we spent ages trying to work out where the balconies were and if the rooms were fully divided or just partitioned.

Location - quiet safe. Great A/C and fans and it was very hot outside. Close proximity to restaurants, pharmacies, and markets. Comfortable beds but hard mattresses - many pillows and blankets. Very roomy apartment and good closets. Good internet once connected and good connection to Netflix.
The high ratings are just not believable - I expected more from Booking.com. NO full fabulous meals can be cooked here unless you eat from a pot on the stove - only microwave rubber tasting food. No toaster-no kitchen towels-no sponge- no basics like sugar, coffee, bottled water (even if just for one day), no ice cubes, no napkins, no paper towels, only tiny packets of shampoo and body wash. Had to pressure the manager to get him to stop by to fix hot water and the internet connection. I had already burned my finger to finally work the Electrolux stove top. No instructions at all on how anything might work. Manager Italo arrives unplanned and asks "Where's the Modem?" as if I was supposed to know! Washer Dryer in lower entry level - we heard noises etc. asked if someone else lived in the small building - Italo says - I do not know. I don't think so. But later I was greeted by a lady doing her laundry one morning. In the description, passed over quickly, are 2 ½ very steep staircases and the timed hall light often goes dark midway up. OK they did send us a bottle of sparkling wine to apologize.
