Very bad place to stay!

The bed doesn’t have an actual mattress!! It’s just something even thinner than the ones you find on a sunbed. The sheets were broken, had holes everywhere and stained. Also the pillows were stained. You will find a bunch of massive spiders hanging from the ceiling. Yeah! A great stay….

It is perfect if you would like to stay in a good place with a low budget. There is laundry, place where can dry your cloth, kitchen in case you would like to prepare some food. It is like a home environment.

I feel like home and had an amazing time in Panchavadi resort, I was able to enjoy my stay in the best possible way for

I had an amazing time at Panchavadi Beach Resort. Good price for good quality in a safe and charming location very close to Varkala Beach, the hotel benefits from a generous and quiet natural environment. My room was very decent, all the amenities we needed were there, good wifi, several electrical outlets in different places in the room as well as in the bathroom and in addition on a window there was a mosquito filter for that the air comes inside and cools the temperature of the room, I hardly used the automatic ventilation. From the hotel you are close to visit everything interesting in Varkala, (near the hotel there are rickshaws to transport you everywhere or a bus stop, just ask the staff at the hotel hotel team) centers and schools of: Ayurveda, massages, Yoga, and other places of health or Arts, the beautiful Sri Janardanaswamy temple with its large swimming pool, other temples, the city, the cliffs red with the charming restaurants cafes and shops, the fishing village, other beaches, the city with the market, the cinema, the station or if you want to go and do other activities in the region. The staff of the Panchavadi team is really one of the best I have known, it's like a family, they are professional, kind, smiling, respectful and always there to answer you if you have any questions or requests about Varkala and activities (ex: ayurveda, massages) or other excursions and visits to do during your stay, ask them if you need and they will be happy to help you. I felt like home and enjoyed my stay in the best possible way for a solo traveler, I can only recommend this place to everyone.

Safe and friendly place

Very good place for this price. The place is safe and quiet, located close to the beach, a lot of restaurants and shops nearby. Entrance to the beach is easy, no need to climb off a cliffs. Hospitable, friendly host & staff, they are ready to help and really nice people. I really appreciate the support! There is parking at the area, so you can leave your scooter in a safe place. Cheap laundry service is available. There is mutual kitchen, but its crowded most of time.

Using AC is not included, should pay additional price daily. There is only cold water for showering. Hot water is available and you can fill the bucket with hot water and pour yourself with the cup... WiFi was really not good, if you plan to work online its not an option.
