Great location and perfect set up.

Great location and lots of room for where we were at.

Steep stairs, but ok given where the property was at and everything else was wonderful.

Well located traditional home

The location is amazing: a short stroll to Kodaiji Temple Bamboo forrest, Ninenzaka, Sannenzaka & so many beautiful temples. It was a fantastic experience living in a traditional home.

We found the futon beds very hard. A couple of the beds were double stacked so a bit more comfortable but we didn't get the best sleep. Very narrow, steep staircase upstairs, it was fine for us & our teens but something to keep in mind when booking (we left our suitcases in the small room downstairs rather than lugging them up).

A wonderful stay in the historic part of Kyoto

Absolutely wonderful staff! Checkin location near Kyoto station is far from the room, but the hotels taxi will take you there. The house is built in a very classic fashion. It had all amenities we could hope for. The location near Gion was fantastic because everything was easy to reach!

The top floor (in the summer) can be a bit stuffy. Frequent ventilation necessary.

L’emplacement juste à côté du quartier de Gion. La maison décorée avec goût. Le calme.

L’escalier qui monte à l’étage mais c’est stipulé dans l’annonce. La cuisine aurait besoin d’un peu plus d’ustensiles pour cuisiner.
