The hostel is very clean. I booked 3 nights and the 6 bed female room and I was placed on the 3 beds female room, which was nice. The room has a private balcony.
The room is cleaned every day.
Bathroom was clean all the time.
Bus stop is 3 min walking distance.
Palo beach is about 7 min walking distance.

For the price you are paying, great place. Rooms were comfortable with AC, small balconies, and comfortable bed. The toilets and showers are separate from the rooms (at least the one we stayed in) and they were quite clean, too. Terrace was amazing with great views.
Very far away from the city center, will take you at least 30 minutes to go to downtown with public transportation. If you have a car (we didn't but from what I saw), parking may also be an issue.

But DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE A LIGHT SLEEPER
Next to a busy road. Windows are not soundproof. Tried playing white noise on tablet and podcast on my phone with earphones. Didn’t help. I was in room1. You can hear noise from corridor and kitchen - thankfully people were quiet 11pm-7am,
But that didn’t help with the road noise. I didn’t get one minute of sleep. It was like trying to fall asleep on a busy motorway. Avoid
