This vacation rental is part of the Sunrise Mountain Village community in Killington located just minutes from the slopes of Bear Mountain. Ski-in and out of this home and then ride the Sunrise Lift located by the Falls Brook Commons sports center. Just six miles north, you'll find several restaurants (from popular breakfast spots to sushi bars) and local shops all along Killington Road. The whole family will enjoy their time together at this two-story condo where you can share updates online thanks to the free WiFi, watch a movie or favorite show on the cable TVs, gather at one of the tables and have a family game night, or head outside and enjoy the view from your deck. After a day out on the slopes, stoke up the fire and relax with a good book and a mug of hot cocoa. Enjoy access to Falls Brook Commons, a private sports center facility at Sunrise Mountain Village. After an exciting day of hiking or skiing, relax and enjoy the indoor heated pool, hot tub, sauna, or steam room. The outdoor hot tub is available for use all year round. The Sports Center is closed for maintenance until Memorial Day weekend, 2023. There are also three outdoor tennis courts, plus a firepit (by reservation only). All outdoor amenities are available. THINGS TO KNOW Amenity availability is controlled by Sunrise, not Vacasa. As such, please visit Sunrise's website for details regarding amenities. Children under the age of 12 must be chaperoned by an adult for all activities. This property does not have air-conditioning. It's actually quite rare to find air-conditioning in Vermont properties. Please utilize fans in the property and/or open windows for a breeze. Meals & Room Tax License #MRT-10082226 Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices-not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors! Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. We had a family of five — two parents and three grown kids. Place was perfect size and fit for us. Our only suggestion is to get a bigger TV. Otherwise lovely!

The house was nicely furnished and some things were pleasantly updated and they should think about posting new pictures. Over all we did enjoy our stay but a few things definitely should be addressed. The pans were all put away with food caked on them, now we always clean the things we plan on using anyway but if I were paying for a cleaning service I would want to know what they are and are not doing. We did attempt to use the oven but the smell was so strong it was very concerning. We had to open all the windows and the door to air it out. I did call to report it and they did send someone pretty diligently but in the end they just said this was a normal smell for the stove. My husband is a firefighter and even he was very off put by the smell. So unfortunately we were not able to use the oven for any of the meals we had planned. Even the burners put off an odor although not as strong. We tried using the washer and dryer and this also smelled and had some smoke so we again were no able to really use that ei2ther The plentiful firewood was great and the sauna was definitely a treat. The location is really good and really forces you to disconnect as you have no service in the home. I hope some of these things are addressed as this was a pretty nice VRBO overall.

Very cozy and large living space. Good for small family. Has a nice time at Killington Resort and the amazing scenery around. Will visit again. Many steep, sharp hills and roads come prepared with boots and 4wd

The place is even bigger and nicer than the pictures show! The only downside was that the gym was not open at all on the weekend, which wasn’t advertised.

We enjoyed our stay despite the rainy weather. Roomy and comfy. Our only recommendation would be larger towels and more of them. If we had the kids with us and stayed all weekend we would have needed more.

The only objection is that the internet was very slow.

The location was fantastic - you can't beat ski in/ski out!
BUT the communication with the property manager was atrocious. No information on what check out required, no way to ask questions if we were uncertain about directions or wanted to know more about the wifi in advance, and then in the morning people showed up at 8am on our (2nd story) balcony, shoveling the snow with no notice!
In addition the house was in need of vacuuming, and the dishwasher was partially broken (one of the shelves was coming off). And check out it at 10am with no chance of extending, so you're definitely not getting any skiing in the day you leave!
In short, I would stay here again -- but only if I couldn't find any other ski in/ski out options.

Comfortable condo that worked well for our family of 4. Beds are comfortable, etc. We loved the grassy path behind the house down to the pool. Pool was super fun! Only 3 stars because when we arrived, the dishwasher was full of the last guests dirty dishes and there was no dishwasher soap. We ended up washing the full dishwasher by hand. Also - there were candy wrappers around the house (on the floor) presumably from the last guest. We understand that mistakes happen. We also didn’t get much of a helpful response from Vacasa. Future guests should know: the kitchen has no condiments or spices; BYO salt, pepper, oil, etc. Also BYO laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, garbage bags, plastic bags/wrap/aluminum foil, etc.
We smelt a strong gas smell when we used the oven and at other times during the day (when the oven/stove wasn’t on) but never received a reply from Vacasa.
All in all - as long as you come prepared -this is a really nice spot! Vacasa is not the most responsive operation.

Comfortable, clean condo. Three bathrooms a plus. Had some trouble opening the door at check-in, but management answered the phone and solved the problem. Cable TV a plus, especially for theses techno-challenged retirees.

I'm glad you didn't tell me the condo was on Bear Mtn. I probably would not have chosen it. However, when our stay was over all six of us voted that it was the best experience we've ever had as a family. Thanks from all of us.

Great place and location!
The townhouse is perfect for a skication, the ski in ski out is very convenient and only about 10 minutes (life and ski over) to the main lifts! Plenty of space towels exc. for 3 adult couples (is much larger than it looks), well stocked kitchen (we cooked in for all meals), and we used to pool/saunas! Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is the microwave does not work and the oven has a possible gas leak (we only used it 2/3X but had to open the windows each time due to the smell). I’m sure the owner will fix these things and then I would give it 5/5, we hope to return next year and absolutely loved the condo.

Very spacious. Great location. Everything we needed to have a great vacation. Unfortunately there was no fire starter so had to go get some. Beyond that, no complaints. Would definitely go back.

This was a good location for our Fall hiking and leaf-peeping visit. Very quiet spot at the base of Bear Mountain, very near Killington Peak. Unlocking the condo was an easy process; getting the wifi to work took some sorting out, but after finding the router and unplugging it for 20 seconds to reset it, we had no problems for the rest of our stay. TV stations were limited, so bringing DVDs would be a good idea. The place was pretty clean, but there were some hairs in the bathrooms from previous occupants. The beds were very comfortable. The fireplace was great. Nice light and views from the windows with mountains on one side and woods behind. The communications/customer service from Vacasa was excellent. I would definitely stay here and use Vacasa again.
