First time travelling as a widow you need people as caring as they were. Kind, thoughtful individuals who though super busy treated me as an individual. As I was in tourism this was notable.
Leonardo very welcoming. Luis went the extra kms to hang on the phone and book me a taxi which as the nearest bus stop was out of action was appreciated. Suitcase on cobbles to the marina stop with my broken hand would have been terrible very painful probably damaging my recovery. Luxury generous breakfast with omelette, bacon, ham, cheese, bread, cake, decent jam not cheap commercial mush 👍 pretty terrace. Location right by the old city walls for photo oppElPrettySs.
Single people get less good rooms. Tea and coffee and brilliant showers. Metal bunk beds more for children other rooms had more comfort and windows.
Explaining the air conditioning would have helped. Roasting hot.
Most Faro hotels have noise of planes. I could have stayed several nights but the noise pollution until midnight and landings from 5.45 am may be okay for travellers but not for a relaxing holiday.

Lovely guest house, really friendly staff, nice feel & ambience.
Breakfast was simple but perfect.
Bathroom & decor were modern & stylish.

Great location, central but quiet
We were right next to the lift and it was a bit noisy at times.

The lounge and terrace
Very uncomfortable, small bed. Hard pillows. Amelie is not fit for two people. This is a single room.
