Clean and comfortable with a great balcony view in the beautiful town of Loutro. The room was a lot more updated and modern than the pictures suggested, so that was very welcome.

It’s been 26 years since I visited the village people says it changed , but in reality so has everything in this time however it only small things that changed few more restaurants than before and few more hotels , no cars or road traffic noise is a blessing and it’s a stunningly beautiful bay to relax around and swim in . If you want to get away from the day trippers (who arrive around midday and mostly rerun by 16.00) simply walk 20 minutes to Phoenix Bay which is also beautiful which over the hill and has a good Tavern and restaurant and sun lounges . Or walk the other way to Sweetwater Bay (1hour) which has an amazing cliff bar halfway . Where the beer is served in refrigerated glass and ice cold. The staff Helpful and friendly rooms have amazing view over the bay.

Good location, comfortable beds
Hotel was a little run down - broken shelf in the bathroom, broken drying rack. Hallways were loud (could hear every door slam). Bad smell near our bathroom that permeated the entire room overnight when doors were all shut and the AC was running. We arrived to the free breakfast near the end of the time period and several items were unavailable, breakfast service was very slow. The room was a good price so may have just been that we got what we paid for.
