Location was great very central. We loved the Spanish feel and our private little courtyard.
Even though location was very central you had to walk up a side alley way wish smelt pretty bad with homeless down the end. Felt a bit uncomfortable walking up late evening.

Fantastic stay at Canavall. Everything was perfect. Brilliant location, very spacious apt no.3. Very helpful staff and would highly recommend for a city break.

The location and the breakfast room were the only things we liked about this hotel.
The apartment felt very cold and uncomfortable. The furniture is very basic, IKEA-style, placed in an old building that hasn’t seen much renovation. The bathroom has old, damaged tiles, the window is held by a magnet, and the door has no handle, making it hard to open. The room with the sofa bed is impossible to sleep in — the mattress is poor, there’s no mattress topper, and the fridge is extremely noisy. Light from the hallway shines through the gaps around the door. The main bed mattress is sagging and clearly needs replacement. Wi-Fi doesn’t work in the main bedroom.
Breakfast was very limited — eggs were available only on one out of three mornings.
The price doesn’t match the quality of the apartment. Within a 15-minute drive from the city, you could stay in a 5-star hotel with a pool and easily come to the city by rental car — one day of car rental costs less than two taxi rides.
We were simply disappointed by the value for money. We travel a lot and have a good basis for comparison.
