The location is incredible! Ready walk to Shaftsbury High Street, a lovely park. The Abbey and good restaurants. The food is top flight, and the young man who manages breakfast is professional and courteous beyond his years. The little back garden really entices you to sit and take in a pretty evening
While we loved being able to park on site, the driveway back to it was a bit disconcerting for someone driving an SUV on the "wrong" side of the road. We did it over and over without incident but it did get ones heart pounding for a few minutes each time.

The breakfast was composed of fresh produce which was nicely cooked and served hot on a hot plate.The fried eggs were served soft as requested, the bacon, sausage and black pudding were very tasty rounded off with fresh granary toast with butter.
The ensuite shower provided plenty of hot water but the shower head needs to direct the flow more downwards than horizontal causing a possible wet floor due to deflection off the body.

Breakfast was excellent and well cooked. I was especially grateful for the special off menu arrangement for me as a vegetarian.
The loo was hard to flush. Water pressure seemed fairly low.
