The hotel is very cute. I loved the unique aesthetics and my room which happpened to be the disablility accesible one was adorable. The AC was great and I could regulate it myself. The room was a good size with plenty of hangers and shelves so it would work for a long stay. The terrace was huge and I appreciated the shutters that opens and closes with a switch. The bed was comfortable and it was an actual 140cm wide bed instead of two tiny beds pushed together which is often the case in France. The hotel is steps away from a path with a river that gets shade early in the morning. There's zero carpeting which makes it ideal for anyone traveling with a pet.
The pool could have been cleaner. Two weeks ago I was at a hotel in Eze that ran a robot cleaner after the pool closed and the water was crystal clear. I wear polarized goggles and swim with my eyes open. This pool wasn't cloudy but it wasn't as clean and there were a ton of flower petals in the pool which a guest ended up picking up with the net on a stick. Given that the pool gets packed, they should pay more attention to the pool. I asked if there was a freezer in the room and I was told there was but it was just a fridge. The microwave looked to be from the 1970s and it was difficult to figure it out since I had never seen one like it before.

The hotel is placed very central in the town and yet in a very quiet small street, so there was no disturbing noise at all. The pool is cozy even though it is a very small pool.
First we were given a small apartment on the main floor that appeared dark and claustrophobic and did not resemble any of the pictures shown on booking.com. When we complained, we were offered another apartment on the 2nd floor that looked much more like the advertised pictures on booking.com, and yet we were told that we were very lucky to receive that “upgrade”from the hotel, which appeared a bit deceitful.
