Great value for money in a great location!

The location was great. The beds had curtains for privacy which was great. The hostel also had hair dryers, a washing machine/dryer and bits of food to make breakfast with. Excellent value for money.

A lot of the guests are long-term renters, meaning they can be very rude and anti-social as they feel you are encroaching on their space/bedroom. I felt very uncomfortable around one particular guest in my room. The showers weren’t the best, but fine for the cost.

Adorable room, more than adequate facilities, and very friendly staff, with extremely quick response time.

Not really their fault, but the payment machine couldn't take my card, bring a Mastercard to Korea!

cheap, you get what you paid for. Nice staff and good location

it was very social and like 5 min from the main street. The staff was really nice and flexible, the guesthouse is included breakfast so it is very cheap and good for the value. I stayed in a small room in the beginning, the bed was also very small and i couldnt charge my phone properly. However as i extended my stay, i had to move to another room. The room was much bigger and even the bed was much more comfortable. It was a bit weird there was a difference, as i couldnt choose the room when i booked

The bathrooms were not very clean, a bit noisy

The perfect guest house

The location was perfect. The beds were really confortable. Staff very Quick to answer when needed and really Nice. You have everything you need to enjoy your stay.

Good

Single room was pretty decent, bed was fairly comfy, A/C worked well. Self check-in was pretty easy. There was hot and cold water available in the lounge on the entry level. After check out I stored my bags in the lounge as instructed (seemed pretty secure).

There's no lift up to the entry floor nor the upper floors with rooms, so it was pretty tricky with a big suitcase. After check out I stayed in the lounge for a while before I had to leave, but when I wanted to use a bathroom (I could no longer access the one in my room) I went upstairs to the top floor to find the bathroom but it was super dirty and smelt very bad :/ Seems like the staff had almost forgotten it existed. Otherwise the place seemed clean though.

Nice cozy hotel on Hongdae

Hongdae is my favorite place in Seoul so for me the location is perfect. Also it’s close to metro. The host is friendly and easy for communication, thank you! The bath is clean.

The furniture is a bit old, but it’s ok.

More than amazing

If you check in online, the process is so much easier, i did that and really recommend it. The floor was super warm and so was the whole house, so dont worry about being cold, inside the house you can even wear a tshirt when its negative degrees outside. There were two toilets and two showers, but since everyone has their own schedule, i never had a line whenever i needed to use those. Overall everything was amazing for the price, its near everything and the people are great

The shared space could use more seats, whenever we had a big group there, some had to stand. There should be a set time that the staff is there so a person knows when they can pay (i had to wait for them at the hostel). If not, give an option to pay online so a person doesnt have to wait around

the property is near with Hongik Exit 7 which is the line for Airport. it is very convenient and near Hongdae street!

Very good

Excellent location. The location to Hongdae Station is near.... (Green Line and AREX line) Near Hongdae Street. Suggest to go by exit 4/6 instead. There is a mall nearby with Animate, Artbox, Daiso, Muji Washing machine and dryer available.

The in-built toliet/shower is very small

Good location and rate

The guesthouse is located in a quiet area even though it is really close to center of Hongdae. The room is small but looks bigger than the image on Booking. Hot water and heater are 24/7 available during snow season. Checkin and checkout are swiftly, however you need to confirm via whatsapp before arrival. Shampoo, towel and hair dryer are provided so you don’t need to bring yours. 24/7 restaurants, pubs and convenient stores nearby.

Soundproof is not really good, but we cannot ask for more at this incredible rate ;)

Nice convenient guesthouse near Hongdae station

The guesthouse is in a very convenient location. Our room was very clean and quite comfortable. The staff were quick to respond to inquiries, and there were thoughtful amenities in the room like a power bar and a plug adapter. The bathroom was spacious (but there is no curtain between the shower and the toilet so you have to be careful not to get the toilet wet). The beds were also quite comfortable and we slept well. Towels were provided daily and shampoo/conditioner/body wash as well as hand soap and toothpaste were also available.

Some of the other guests were loud at night and the common area like the kitchen could have been cleaner. We frequently found the front door not closed properly (looked shut but not actually latched or locked), which is a security problem, but all of the above are more of an issue depending on the other guests staying there. The wifi speeds were not great but acceptable. There are stairs only so it might be a problem for people with very heavy luggage getting to the second floor. There is a mattress pad on the bed which is very comfortable but keeps sliding off.

Friendly and helpful staff, convenience, clean and comfy!

I like how the shared rooms has curtains for each bed to block out any light so that we have privacy and our roommates does not wake us if they on the light. It has washing machine, dryer, and within hongdae shopping streets. Its near the train station too. I would book this hostel if i ever come back to Seoul!

Pretty Good location, self check-in which is very convenient, they are reactive.

Very noisy in the morning as the walls are very thin, I could hear the doors closing every 10 minutes from my room.

Loved, loved my stay here!! Very welcoming atmosphere and lots of generous services for free.

Free washing machine, free dryer, friendly and easygoing staff, spoke English well, air conditioner, good air circulation for bathrooms, daily cleaning of the rooms, the guests and people that stayed at the house were the best!!

Space may be an issue for luggage storage, but nothing worth complaining about :).

Central location. Room was clean, toiletries were provided. The bathroom was a bit small for a westerner but clean and well maintained.

The hostel is on the 1st floor so you need to go up a lot of stairs. Not recommended if you have a big luggage.

Awesome stay, awesome staff

Super place and great location. I was there for a few weeks and kept meeting cool people, the general area makes for a very friendly atmosphere, and it's easy to start conversations, meet people, and make friends. The staff is awesome. They clean the guesthouse almost every single day and were extremely accommodating. There's also an area for putting on makeup and doing your hair with mirrors and plenty of power sockets and hair tools which was a huge plus :') would definitely stay there again if I ever feel like hanging out around Hongdae.

Nothing ? If not the location.

All. Let's list things: 1. We will have to improve on cleanliness. I have done Guest Houses but this one did not make me feel comfortable at all. The unpleasant smell in the bathroom. 2. Noise. Walls that are not soundproof. 3. Mosquitoes. I don't know where they came from, we had locked ourselves in and yet there were always some.
