Hotel Victoria was such a great place to spend the night before our cruise along the Main and Rhine Rivers.
Took a train from Munich to Nuremberg. The hotel is located across the street within the walls of Old Town. The location is great. So easy to walk to churches, the castle or watch the World Cup Finals as every bar and restaurant had it on a big screen (or a small TV on a table.)
Our hotel room was so comfy and so cozy. It was a bit of a challenge to find as you went out the door at the end of the hall to find it. It was so quiet and had a view of the Old City Walls and gate. Thankful for air conditioning and complimentary bottles of mineral water in the room.
Thirsty? Grab more water from the orange fridge in the lobby. There is also a full honor bar down stairs with drinks and snacks.
Our room included a full breakfast buffet in the morning. Loved how the choices were laid out and labeled so clearly in German and English.
Enjoyed so many delicious breakfast options. Cheese, salads, fresh fruits, vegetables with hummus, muesli and freshly baked cakes. Swiss hot chocolate? Definitely! My hubby loved his latte. Ask for eggs cooked your way.
Would definitely stay at the Hotel Victoria. A charming, and very orange, classic hotel in old town Nuremberg.

Great location if arriving by train and convenient for old town. Lovely staff and great service throughout. Breakfast was wonderful - huge variety. Attention to sharing the history of the building was appreciated and the library room was a good communal space/place to do a bit of work.
The coffee was very weak, not really espresso, but the rest of breakfast was superb.
