Location was perfect, it was a ~25min walk to the colosseum. Additionally, metro line was right next to the apartment.
It was super clean.
Serious lack of sunlight, there was only one window in the gallery.
Sewage smell was coming from the bathroom, I'm guessing not a host fault, but it was unpleasant nontheless.
Lack of additional lights in the room. Apartment was really dark, even with the all lights turned on.

This was the best place for my solo trip to Rome! Conveniently located in the historic district for sight seeing but also close to the train stations. I had wonderful meals in the restaurants located in the same building. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful in mapping out places I should see. The value you get for this price in unbeatable. My room was very spacious, cold with air conditioning and had a nice balcony view. I am recommending all my friends stay here on their visits to Rome.
You could hear the city traffic a bit but it was not too bad.

The accommodation is very close to the train station and it was a very comfortable place to stay. The room was cleaned every day.
Marilena gave us the warmest welcome. She was very kind and helpful, and gave us great recommendations for places to visit in Rome, as well as restaurants and supermarkets.
Most importantly, she recommended an amazing gelato shop! It’s a very old and traditional gelato shop, and I ended up going there every day. 😍
I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely recommend this place!

+ "strategic" location close to everything (metro, Colosseum, restaurants) but in a quiet not so touristic area.
+ great cleanliness.
+ nice basic room.
+ bed was comfy enough, pillows a bit hard.
+ nice shared living room and kitchen.
+ welcome in person (so rare lately!)
- there were renovation works in the next flat starting at 8:00am with deafening noise by drilling and jackhammer. This spoiled my first day there since I was planning to rest all the morning; actually I had very little sleep so I was tired all the day.
- lack of curtains at the bathroom window, neighbors can easily see inside when you are on the wc or in the shower :-|
