Situated in Princeville, this attractive condo for $560 per night is a great option for your next trip. Welcome to The Cabana on Kauai! This is a beautiful, remodeled condo with a balcony lanai. It has three comfortable bedroom/bathroom suites ("Honu", "Shaka", and "Lanai") which makes it great for families, friends, and couples. Located overlooking the pool and tropical grounds, just a few steps from the fitness center, this upper level corner unit is open and bright, and captures the cool trade wind breezes. You'll enjoy sitting on the large covered lanai that opens to the living area with four sliding glass doors. We have a storage garage that we keep stocked with snorkeling equipment, chairs, boogie boards, coolers, and cruiser bikes so that you can pack light and make the most of your stay. Professionally decorated and meticulously maintained with an eye for detail. Fresh, clean, comfortable and outfitted with everything! Including baby gear, pack n play, highchair, and stroller. The Cabana is located on the North Shore in the resort community of Princeville. It is a great home base for world class golfing, access to beaches (Hanalei, Tunnels, Anini, Hideaways), and adventure on the Garden Isle. We are located on walking paths along the Princeville golf course fairways. You can follow these paths to the grocery store, restaurants, shops, and nearby beaches. This is a great place if you need a 3 BR condo (kind of rare). This is a very well kept property - very clean, well supplied kitchen, good beds, wonderful lanai. Our group of 5 (3 adults, 2 teens) had plenty of room and didn't feel like we were on top of each other over the course of the week. Pool is nearby. There is a ton of beach supplies - especially snorkeling gear - easily enough for as many people as you could have staying there.

We have stayed in other Plantation condos in the past and this one exceeded our expectations! We now have 2 teenage boys, and they wanted their own space, so the three bedrooms was perfect. I really liked that the two smaller bedrooms have a portable air conditioner which worked perfectly for that space, most do not have AC in the spare rooms only in the master. The beach equipment was great to borrow! Would stay here again!

Our family of 5 stayed two weeks in this airy, clean, and convenient condo in Princeville. Nice property that looks better in person. Pool is right out the back for extra convenience and was cleaned daily. Garage has pool toys, chairs, boogie boards, and a pack and play. Was a great time and would definitely stay again.

Having a cooler and beach gear available was great. The rooms were nice size and the beds were comfortable. Enjoyed having a washer/dryer available so we didnt have to pack dirty clothes. The onlt thing that needs to be updated is the dishwasher. Other than that its a perfect place.to stay with a grouo or a family.

This was the perfect place to stay for four nights and explore all that the North Shore has to offer. Our host was communicative and the pictures actually don’t do the place justice. I would definitely recommend!

This is our second time of renting this condo. The location is great - easy to walk around the adjacent neighborhood or to Princeville grocery store. The condo is on the second floor with a wonderful deck overlooking the pool area. There's lots of beach equipment and 4 bikes. Had a great time.

Our family of 6, all adults, loved staying at this property. It was a perfect location for getting to know the town of Hanelai, the Princeville community and surroundings. The condo was in great condition and Kyle couldn’t have been better responding to questions. We would stay here again for sure.

Wonderful Princeville Stay
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this spacious, clean and airy property. The pictures don't quite do it justice--it is full of light and with many sliding glass doors to let in the fresh air. It has a wonderful balcony with a lovely view of the pool and palm trees. The location was great--right by the golf club, a short drive to the Princeville shops and dining and to Hanalei. To our surprise and added treat, we saw this Plantation community and its entrance featured when we re-watched The Descendants while there. We'd definitely stay here again!

Two week stay, almost 5 stars.
Great place to stay. Needs kitchen utensil upgrades. Neighbor below complained lots, and we were not there much.
Had to go to pool to BBQ.
Bikes could use some maintenance. It was awesome having boogey boards and snorkel gear. Pool and hot tub were awesome.
Over all it was great but neighbor made us feel unwelcome.

Best Place EVER
Our family travels a lot. This unit has everything!!! Super Clean, 3 bedrooms with their own bathrooms, Full kitchen, Wash and Dryer in the Unit, Covered patio. Community Pool and Jacuzzi. The bed's were super comfortable and the master bedroom shower was amazing. 2 sinks in Masterbedroom with walk in closet. The home was comfortable and cooled down quickly. We were never hot. The photos online don't to do it justice. The home is little and bright with lots of windows and great views. The owner communicates immediately and we loved our stay. The BEST stay we have ever had in a VRBO. Thank you.

Comfortable, well-equipped older condo.
Place has lots of amenities, especially all the beach gear available in the storage garage below. Comfortable rooms, lots of towels both for the beach and the bath. Unfortunately the kitchen had been abused by prior guests and was a challenge to work in with no real oven or microwave. Luckily there's a BBQ down at the pool. The host was apologetic about it and has parts and service on order. Things take longer in the Islands. So if you plan to cook a lot, you might want to check the status of the kitchen and not be surprised when you arrive. Kitchen issues aside this is a nice spot!

Everything you might need
This is a great place to stay that comes with everything you might need, including a garage with lots of beach gear. Undoubtedly one of the most vacation-ready places we've stayed in across our years of doing these types of rentals. Very helpful host who immediately solved a small key problem. I highly recommend this place.

4 days in paradise
Just spent 4 days here with my son, daughter and son in law. The condo was spacious with plenty of room for 5 adults. The lanai was fabulous and we spent most of our time out there. The unit was well stocked— probably the best stocked place I’d ever stayed ( bikes, detergent, games, snorkel equipment, boogie boards). Kitchen had everything you could want. Only one issue with the place: there were no a/c vents in two of the bedrooms so that made 2 bedrooms significantly hotter. Otherwise, it was perfect!

The perfect vacation getaway!
The best vacation ever! The property and the location were absolutely perfect! We were able to use the bikes, boogie boards, and other beach gear that was in the garage. Communication was easy and Kyle always responded right away! I highly recommend this property and will book it again if we go back to Kauai in the future.
There are just a couple of things that I would change:
1- the bed in the master bedroom is so high that we had to use step stools to get into and out of the bed.
2 - only the living room and master suite have vents, but the other rooms get really hot. Fans were provided but they didn't help much and it still got really hot. Nothing can really be done about point number 2, but I highly recommend a bed that is easier to get in and out of in the master suite.

Wonderful Holiday!
We loved this property and it was absolutely perfect for two couples and one small child. It provided plenty of room and a great balcony that we really took advantage of. The condo is beautifully down and they have provided literally everything you need for your vacation, from a fully (fully) equipped kitchen to all sorts of beach gear. We were so happy to see a stroller for our two year old that made getting around Princeville really easy. We love the North Shore and this location provides perfect access to everything. We would highly recommend this property!

Relaxing stay in lovely condo
A spacious condo with nice breezes coming through. It comes with everything you need to be comfortable. There was even a cooler and ice packs to borrow. Liked the lanai in the morning

Place was great. Everything you can imagine when it comes to small children (high chair, stroller, backpacks, playpen etc, all in great condition.) Very accommodating, we really have nothing bad to say about this place. We will return one day I assure you that!

Spoiled me for all other rentals
First VRBO experience and the bar is set HIGH. I would give it double the stars if I could. As a group of 5 adults, with extremely differing tastes, vacations can be trying (but we’re family so we do try) Every detail at this amazingly peaceful cabana was perfect for each and every one of us.
The layout was great, enough room for everyone to have their own space but still be together. Master suite was incredible, and the bathroom....heaven. The other bedrooms were good sized and well appointed, having their own bathrooms made getting everyone ready to go at the same time easy. Kitchen had every small appliance and kitchen utensil you could ever need, along with a number of sundry items that made cooking so much easier. The counter was perfect for eating breakfast or having drinks together while making supper.
The garage had everything you could need for a day at the beach and more. A wide range of snorkel mask sizes and snorkels, umbrellas, chairs, mats, coolers, boogie boards, you name it, they had it, plus a spare. The bikes were great for quick trips to Foodland for forgotten ingredients or late night snacks, as well as exploring Princeville.
The best part was that I that I was staying with a friend who wanted me to have the best experience and love the area like they did. The large amount of local and island information provided made last minute planning changes easy. Snuggly blankets, books, movies and board games were all there for fun, cooler evenings. If your adults are at all competitive, you have got to play Fact or Crap!
Kyle was great about answering my frequent questions and even helped extend our check out time when the weather changed some of our plans.
Being located in Princeville, there is lots of driving to see some of the other amazing Kauai sites, but it was worth it to return to the quiet and warmth of the cabana at night. A roomy rental vehicle, lots of snacks and blankets for naps made the drives easier, and yes, we are all adults.
Honestly has spoiled me to staying other places. We spent a night at a 5 star hotel in Waikiki beach after and I said to my husband “it’s alright, but it’s no cabana” When we do come back, as we hope, I would plan my vacation around booking here again.

Great vacation home!
Beautifully decorated and fully equipped condo! Our family, 5 adults and 1 child spent a wonderful week here and had a great time. The condo had everything we needed. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Owner, Kyle and property manager promptly responded and took care of issues with Wifi. Garage fully equipped with beach toys, chairs, boogie boards, coolers & bikes which we greatly appreciated. Only negative would be that one of the bedrooms gets a little warm but there are fans. Thank you again Kyle.

We rented this Princeville Condo for 6 days. The area was amazing with beautifully maintained grounds. The owner and property manager were both very responsive to my questions. Due to flight arrival and departure times, they were flexible with check in and check out times. Only issue was the WiFi was out for the first few days. That was an annoyance but it was not the owners fault. It was fixed and working fine by day 3. Overall, I would definitely recommend to others.

Fabulous condo!
My family had the best week staying here. The condo was in great shape and decorated so beautifully. Everything we needed for the beach was there: boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers and snorkel gear. There were even board games for evenings and rainy times. We used it all and had such a great time! The beds were comfortable and between the bedrooms, living room and lanai, there was plenty of room for the four of us to spread out. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and grills, and it was very convenient to grill for dinner since they are just steps away from the condo. It was also great to have a full size washer and dryer in the condo. Being on the second floor, it was very quiet, and although the buildings are close together, people seemed very respectful of the quiet hours and it was very peaceful to sit and read or have coffee out on the lanai. The condo is very close to the Princeville Center which has shops and restaurants, and just a few minutes away from our favorite little town, Hanalei. There is a lovely biking/walking bath along the golf course around the block from the condo that goes all the way down to the St. Regis. The beaches aren’t exactly in walking distance, but with everything you have to take it’s easier to drive anyway. We drove to the beach at Hanalei Bay and Anini Beach, both of which were awesome and just a few minutes away. We went to Hideaways beach twice, once on bikes and the second time we took advantage of the free valet at the St. Regis. The trek down to that beach is a little treacherous but the beach is glorious! In addition to playing at the beaches, we also spent an awesome afternoon hiking, ziplining and off roading at the Princeville Ranch which is just a few minutes from the condo.
All in all, this condo was a great value and we really didn’t want to leave! Thank you for sharing your beautiful place with us...we can’t wait to return!

Perfect for North Shore stay
Everything about this condo was excellent.Lots of space Nice kitchen Huge master bathroom Comfortable beds.Excellent pool and beach accessories.(snorkels, bikes, chairs) Adequate parking for second car, first car fit in garage easily. You don't need to pay to stay Oceanfront on the north shore because you're going to want to visit the numerous wonderful beaches and drive your car to get them. Why pay extra when you don't want to be at one beach? Location is perfect to access them all. The only issue is the place sleeps 6 in beds, 1 on floor mattress and the 8th person is on the sofa (not pullout) Fine for kids but wouldn't want 8 adults in here. Kyle was responsive to our minor requests while we were there.
