Need to rearrange the tv channels , espresso machines in rooms is a must in our days!

Clean and very spacious room. Excellent assistance and service at the front desk. Very accommodating and welcoming, we needed one person to stay last minute and we asked if we can have sheets for the person to sleep on the sofa. They immediately said yes and did not charge us anything extra. We were very pleased with their hospitality.

Very friendly & helpful chap in reception. We arrived on a national holiday & he took time to find local shops & a pharmacist that would be open. He also upgraded us to a larger suite

The afternoon front desk person was about as welcoming as a prison guard. Same applied to the lady refilling the breakfast buffet the next day.
For them, "pay at the property" is taken very literally. Well, I can say from experience that "pay at the property" does not mean "hand over your credit card the minute you reach the front desk."
Payment should happen at checkout, not at check-in. This is basic hospitality good practice — I should know, since I worked in the tourism industry.
There are many reasons for that:
- Trust sets the tone. Demanding payment upfront signals you expect guests to run off without paying — insulting to any legitimate customer.
- The stay is the product. Paying before experiencing the service leaves the hotel with zero accountability and no incentive to fix problems during your stay.
- Disputes and adjustments. If something goes wrong — noisy room, broken AC, wrong room type — the bill can only be corrected or compensated at checkout. Once you've paid, getting a refund is an uphill battle.
- Incidentals and extras. Minibar, restaurant, room service, spa — everything is naturally settled at the end, so one payment at checkout keeps billing clean.
- Flexibility. Plans change: early departures, extended stays, room upgrades. Payment at checkout means the bill reflects the actual stay.
- The hotel is already protected. A credit card on the reservation is a guarantee against no-shows and cancellations; there's no need to demand immediate payment at the desk.
Being labeled a "business hotel" doesn't mean you get to be disdainful toward families.
And if you plan to treat all Booking.com guests with contempt, then don't enroll in the Genius program to fill your empty rooms.
