Comfortable room, seemed recently refurbished. Lovely view from the balcony. Staff were super friendly, breakfast and dinner both tasty. Location near town (not as remote as the name suggests!) and plenty of free parking.
No fridge or tea and coffee in the room; extra charge for pool towels and robes; no mini bar or room service. For me it's a nice 3 star hotel, not 4 stars.

This hotel was the highlight of our trip to the Black Forest. It was luxurious, the decor was very stylish, the room spacious and very comfortable and the bathroom was fabulous. Everything felt new, clean and expensive. A 20 min walk into Freudenstadt which was lovely with great places to eat. The gorgeous pool which we sometimes had to ourselves was a fantastic addition especially for our daughter. I’d have expected our stay here to be a lot more expensive than it was. And the breakfast … what can I say?! … absolutely delicious high quality food with so much variety to choose from. Easy to find with straightforward parking and lovely staff.

Super hotel just outside the main town - to give the best of peace and tranquillity as well as a short distance to the town with restaurants and shops.
