If you would like to experience the traditional style of Japanese Onsen and authentic cuisine, you will like this experi

The meals provided were very traditional Japanese cuisine. There was plenty of food and it was delicious. Easy to navigate, using bus stop just outside, short walk to Ropeway.

Not easy to get to the property, if using funicular. Taxi might be the best option for drop off.

A lovely stay

Excellent food and really helpful staff members. A small Ryokan so it was really cosy and comfortable.

The onsen should have a poster or description of how to use the facility placed just before the bath door, for tourists who are new to the onsen experience, as we saw some going straight into the bath. The explanation in the room is probably not enough as it was inside the cupboard.

Close to rope line and gondola. Friendliness of staff.

Unfortunately not a fan of Japanese food provided. The foods presentation was lovely and I’m sure it was enjoyed by others. I wish western food was provided as an alternative as the food was part of the price included in the room and we ended buying food elsewhere as we were unable to eat it.
