Quirky property in a quiet, secluded location. Excellent cycling and walking from the front door.
It's disconcerting that there are no signs (anywhere) to tell you you are travelling in the right direction, or even that you have arrived at the right place.

My plans changed last minute - I arrived much earlier than expected - but this was no problem. Ted is the perfect unflappable host.
Shower is a bit underpowered - but that's to be expected with the position of the water supply.

location was excellent for us, quiet and beautiful . an old house with plenty of character. plenty of easy accessible parking. good cooking facilities. pleasant and helpful hosts. plentiful hot and cold water.
no shower just an old bath which is a bit difficult to get in and out of. no accessible opening windows. no dish cleaning brush, pot scrubber or cleaning cloths in the kitchen.

The apartment was conveniently located for us with parking. Ample room for 4 of us.
We arrived a little earlier than expected and couldn't initially find anyone to get the key. Would have been helpful to have a key security box. The apartment was very cold and wouldn't warm up with the limited heaters in there. We were too cold to sit in the living room, as the heater only made a noise and looked like it was on but no heat coming from it. The bathroom was also very cold.
