Overall, a solid choice for the area. The complimentary tea and coffee in the lounge were a nice touch, and the hotel had a pleasant, comfortable atmosphere.
We were given one of the smallest rooms, split across two levels connected by steep, narrow stairs. The bathroom was very cramped.
The receptionist's (woman in her forties) demeanor felt somewhat contrived, and her politeness seemed more performative than genuinely welcoming.

Very are clean rooms, furniture is good. No breakfast, but croissants and fresh coffee available every morning.
Area is very quiet, nothing disturbs in the nights.
A market just 5 minutes from the hotel.
I have booked a room with a sea view, however, received a room on the opposite side of the building, so no sea view at all. Not a problem for me, but maybe it is worth not mentioning “sea view” when proposing a room.
Hotel is 15 mins walking time from the beach and the road to the beach is very nasty.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Amphora! The staff truly stands out – they are incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel right at home. The cleanliness of the hotel is impeccable, which we really appreciated. What made our stay extra special were the thoughtful little details. Providing bicycles to explore the area is a brilliant idea, and having beach umbrellas available for guests was very convenient. We also loved starting our mornings with the complimentary fresh croissants and coffee. It was such a pleasant and cozy touch. We would definitely love to stay here again!
